We had a reservation for 9 pm. When we arrived at 8.50pm, a very unfriendly gentleman at the entrance told us they were already... closed. We made a reservation online. If they close at 9pm, they should not give the option to book at 9pm. After we showed ourreservation, we were allowed to sit at a table. He came straight away and said the kitchen closes at 9pm and we should hurry upand order. We did. The quality of the sushi was great, but each piece was a different size, which is not acceptable for such ahigh price. At 9.30 p.m. we received the bill and had to leave. Great gem at the base of the Rockefeller Tower. Nice dishes, felt authentically japanese in the flavors, great staff energy and... politeness. Only downside is that the venue is underground! Read more
Omakase sushi at good price. Though not sure how that's any different from their lunch special that's almost half the price.... Sushi is good but nothing's memorable. Read more
Sashimi was so good! Even starter and salad were delicious as well. Great location
We arrived at Hama for lunch, after looking for a restaurant in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the... fish! It took a while for our order to be served, but the staff was kind and apologetic. I would definitely recommend this placefor a nice sushi place, not crazy expensive. Read more
Went here per the reviews and wasn't too bad. I ordered the rainbow roll, eel and cucumber roll, and the salmon and avocado... roll. Miso soup was pretty good too. This place is a good bang for your buck considering the location but isn't the highest endsushi. Read more
This place is very nice I got the teriyaki salmon it was very bland but it was a nice size salmon. I tried the green tea ice... cream it was very good and refreshing I will return for more flavors of ice cream. The price here is very reasonable consideringits right near Rockefeller center Read more
