We visited here from Ohio and the food was phenomenal! The employees were kind and prompt, and the atmosphere was great with an... authentic Italian feel. I highly recommend if you are in the area. Read more

Went to this place by myself and ordered Minestrone, Eggplant Parm and Oban 14Y. Minestrone was subpar lacking in flavors and... devoid of any salt. They could have done better being the first restaurant while entering Little Italy. Instead of EP i gotserved Eggplant Rollatini...bad service there. Oban was not made in the restaurant...so no way to go wrong there. Overall a verydisappointing experience. Read more

I'm sad to say I was a little bit disappointed. It was the San Gennaro festival and I originally had a Pulsed deal which they... did not except on Sunday apparently (nowhere in the fin print did it say that so I guess they're just making up rules). Theinterior is absolutely beautiful and there is a lot of history in this restaurant as Frank Sinatra and the rat pack would eathere often after concerts. I ordered the chicken Parm since I was feeling pretty basic, and I substituted the potatoes andbroccoli for spaghetti. It was OK, I just didn't love it. It's not something to rave about but in general I had a good diningexperience. The staff were all great, and it was actually pretty dead, considering there was a festival outside but I guessmaybe that's why it was dead. Either way not the most amazing food I've had but still good enough that I enjoyed 2 meals worthof leftovers! Little tip, if you go downstairs to the bathrooms, they are private bathrooms and I personally love that becauseprivacy and cleanliness is everything! Read more

Not a bad place, very nice stuff, pleasant old Italian American atmosphere. However, I ordered the pasta with clams, and my... clams were full of sand... It's almost okay if there's a tiny bit of sand in them, but what I got made it absolutely crunchy.Mussel soup was quite good, and the gelato was okay. And unfortunately the house wine was not great. The food was fantastic, but the service was really phenomenal. The two gentlemen that attended us were so wonderful and... friendly. The music was very 80’s hits which can be hit or miss for some people (it was a miss for me), but I still loved theplace. Excellent selection of both food and alcohol offerings with all the classics. Went there this past Sunday. 12/5/21…I had filet of sole and hubby had rib eye … very delicious food; amount was... plenty…my fish was made with butter and white wine… the steak was super!..Staff was friendly. The only thing (to me only..it’s a personal preference) they don’t give nothing on the house (you know like chips in a Mexican restaurant?) but didn’tmatter cause prices were ver reasonable. A great experience for us… I also had the “smooth criminal” drink ???? reallygood if you like smoky mezcal…as you can see we cleaned the plates???????? Read more

This is a MUST GO restaurant every time you come to NYC. The place is an Italian old fashion style. Carlos is the nicest guy... ever, make you feel like home. The food is delicious, you won’t notice the difference between America and Italy, freshingredients. Highly recommended. Read more
