The atmosphere is great and the staff are super friendly! Specifically Tara I believe is her name (if I?ve mistaken her for... someone else I?m sorry ????). However, when it comes to online orders I don?t know what happens lol. The drinks don?t taste asgood and my breakfast sandwich was smooshed as hell ???? and missing the toppings I ordered. So as someone who?s kind of aregular as my office is not far, I notice the difference in experience in person order vs. online order. Like I said greatplace, atmosphere, and staff but that needs to translate into online orders as well! Read more
I wanted to give a shout out to Tara, the general manager of Gregory's at 356 7th Ave in NYC. She is so friendly, courteous and... welcoming. My fiance and I are in the area every Thursday morning and always stop into Gregory's to get our coffee and tea fix,and Tara is always there to great us with a smile, and always remembers our order. She is great at her job and you can tell sheis passionate about what she does. It makes our mornings a little brighter! Also the whole staff there is fantastic. Read more
Coffee was just fine. Mostly I was looking for a place where I could work without it being too crowded and have access to a... computer plug-in from my computer. This was the fourth place that I went trying to find that, and it was surprisingly notcrowded and there were quite a few plugs available. So it works great for that. Read more
Wow, wow, and wow. I have patronized my share of coffee ships but this one in particular is at the top of my list. I asked the... barista to make me a coffee and surprise me. Not sure what she made but it will be my new fave. Had to do a remote work calland had no trouble in the atmosphere there. Music wad playing low in the background and several other patrons on such calls andthe noise level was low. Tried a bite of banana bread. I don't typically like such stuff but this was really good. Keeping it real out here in Midtown Always been happy with these expensive coffee, you do get what you pay for in this case. The... stores are modern and with a dark traditional cafe vibe. The ambiance in Gregorys Coffee is cozy and there are lots of seats which is a perfect spot for coffee. I requested to use my... own bottle for coffee and the staff was pretty friendly and considerate. Their coffee tasted smoothly with only little sournessand bitterness. I felt refreshed immediately after taking my first sip. For self serving bar, it was kind of messy and needed toclean up but they had soy milk for free which would be charged in other place. Poor customer service Not a fan of the coffee, but I love the breakfast sandwiches. They were out of ingredients for my order... this morning (11/11) but I didn't realize it because I placed an online pick up order. When I got to the store, one of theattendants said they couldn't make the sandwich. I asked for a simple refund and was IMMEDIATELY met with an bad attitude andunhelpful spirit from the girl African American girl with pink hair(?) -- I mean immediately, and that made me very upsetbecause it was uncalled for. The nasty response I got was that the managers are on vacation and that they'll get in trouble forcanceling a transaction so "No I can't get a refund". I don't know how true that is, but the conversation could have easily gonea different direction. This isn't the first time I've been met with an attitude, this was just the worst time. So whoevermanagement is, please check who you're hiring. I'll likely not come back to this location. I'm not spending money to get metwith attitudes before I have to go to work. There are plenty other places that I can choose. This location needs better customerservice. Read more
