We are staying nearby and have gone back twice. Super fresh vegetables with interesting slight variations from the norm. The... Spicy Coconut Lemongrass soup with chicken was interesting as the chicken had bbq charred notes instead of normal white meatcooked in the soup. Table water was a large carafe of water with ginger and mint. The vegetarian pho was bland but they used awater based broth instead of chicken or beef which is a plus. The spring rolls have a peanut sauce mixed with I think almondbutter which gives it a deeper, darker in color and richer in taste than plain peanut butter. Great service and great food. Acharming place to eat. Read more

Classic pho with beef + mix very good. Soul food. Small size was filling. The shrimp fried egg roll was good too. Their Thai tea... was sweeter than other places but it was still good. Read more

Adorable indoor seating area and very nice and efficient service. I had a vermicelli bowl, which was ok but the grilled shrimp... were really more sautéed. Overall a nice experience. In the summer be aware that the street can be quite loud, it?s a small andcars idle right near the front. Read more

I ordered the vegetarian pho... hmm personally, it wasn't my thing. If I knew that they used the fried tofu, I didn't order...... also very strong mushroom smell and very bland soup... too bland and mild... ???? I thought just vegetables water....???????? Ginger and Lemongrass is the perfect restaurant. It has a quiet but lively atmosphere with beautiful hanging plants and... lanterns. The food paired well with the atmosphere and made you feel relaxed as waiters served soothing soups and delicioussandwiches. I would highly recommend the ginger and honey lemonade as it provides quite the kick. Though if that?s not you?rething you could drink the water as it is flavored with cucumber, fresh herbs and ginger. I also enjoyed the tofu sandwichbecause I found it tasty and comforting. Overall, I love this restaurant and the only thing I would change for me would be theamount of food since I find that it can be overwhelming when trying multiple dishes, though it maybe different for you. Great Vietnamese food on Rivington Street in the Lower East Side. I was there at 5.30 on a Tuesday and apparently there was also... a Happy Hour in effect which I didn't even realize ( I think you got a couple dollars off each drink and appetizer. ) We got theYuzu Margarita and the Mango Mule for drinks, also got one of the Purple flower drinks with gin later and they were all good.Definitely Spring weather drinks. We got the Grilled Salmon Rolls appetizer which was a cold salmon spring roll type of dishwith a vinegar dipping sauce. This was great! One of the best dishes of the night with lots of fresh mint in it. Also the ChiveCake Dumpling , those were ok but the Salmon Roll was better. For mains we got a Massaman shrimp curry with rice and a yellowcurry with angel noodles. Both were really nice and filling. The staff are extremely nice too and the interior has plantshanging from the ceiling and has a cool vibe. I wouldn't mind if the curries were a bit spicier but I didn't ask for it so theycome pretty mild but they were good. Definitely recommend this place. Good prices too . Afterwards you can walk over to the icecream place on Ludlow and Houston. Read more

Was craving some light Vietnamese food for lunch & found Ginger & Lemongrass. The decor is lush & transports customers to a... small restaurant in Vietnam. My senses were piqued for a delicious lunch! Ordered the Grilled Pork (Banh Mi) Sandwich. Wow, thesandwich is rather large? I ordered 2 items as the sandwich price had me thinking ?tiny bite?? also ordered Thai Mint Salad w/Grilled Shrimp which also was a sizable portion. The flavors of the Thai Mint Salad w/ Grilled Shrimp was super tasty, fresh &popping with delicate flavors. Top these delicious dishes with Vietnamese Iced Coffee & I?m content. Definitely will stop inagain to check out their pho ????. Read more
