Everything was freshly made and delicious! Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu and they offered to custom make something if... we couldn’t find anything on the menu. The tortellini and Brussels sprouts were particularly good. Nice wine selection too!Not very crowded on a Friday evening at 6:30. Service was great! Read more

Love this spot! SO good. Great atmosphere, service and food. Would highly suggest for a reasonably priced and delicious Italian... meal in NYC. We got the bruschetta (mushroom was AMAZING), squid ink pasta, gnocchi and cod fish. All were delicious. Read more
Without a doubt, one of the best Italian restaurants in Manhattan. Simple and delicious food without unnecessary... sophistication. All the dishes we ordered were simply excellent. The flavors are balanced, the sauces were not too dominant andthe homemade pasta is excellent. The service was also excellent and professional. Eddie was fabulous. Next to the food, he’s a reason to dine here. We arrived during brunch, but I was craving gnocchi. He went... above & beyond and put in a special request with the chef! I couldn’t be more impressed with the service—- top notch! Thefood is fresh, wonderful, and full of flavors that develop with each bite! The ambience at Giardino 54 was lovely. The back patio is enclosed with AC and hanging plants. The staff were extremely... attentive and helpful in giving recommendations. We both ordered the buccatini with eggplant and we polished off our plates,including every drop of sauce. It was incredible! We shared the sausage appetizer and really enjoyed that as well, though it wason the small side. The only thing that was mediocre was the chocolate cake which seemed like it was a store-bought microwaveableone. I'll leave the 5 stars though since the rest of the meal, service, and ambience, were spectacular! Read more
