My family and I had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Great food and service. I had the scallops, which were done to perfection,... my wife had the Red Snapper, and my daughter had the Sea Bass. All was fresh, prepared well, and very flavorful. The liveband’s jazz music time warped us to the 1920s making the atmosphere feel like a speakeasy. So much fun. Read more
Came here for the restaurant week menu and jazz music. The Music was amazing and the place is beautiful for pics. The host was... amazing and friendly.The food was also good. However our server was trash. He rushed us to decide on items, tried to pressureus to buy things off of the regular menu. He had an unpleasant demeanor and never checked on us. We also had to wait forever fora water refill. I wouldn’t return because of his poor service. We are paying customers regardless of the menu we order from.Perhaps y’all shouldn’t participate in restaurant week if you will discriminate. Read more
This is such a nice jazz bar in midtown, like the name it says it’s fine and rare to find in the city. It’s very New York... style with jazz live music everyday and you don’t have to buy ticket to get in. We came in for a drink only so we sat on thebar you do not need a reservation for that, but if you prefer to dine in reservation is highly recommended. There are massiveselection of whisky and some craft cocktails not just whisky cocktails. I ordered couple of the cocktails from the menu they areall really good. But if you have any particular whisky you want, you probably can find it here. The bar seats are first comefirst serve, but they also have some stools around the whole area you can sit as well. The drinks are little pricy but the placeis very classic and good vibe. The jazz performance is excellent. Not too loud so you can still hear each other talk. Read more
Great experience! Food was great service was fantastic, really good. The music us also a nice touch, a little too loud for my... liking but I am sensitive so it will probably be fine for most people. Incredible whiskey selection alongside other alcohols. Ido recommend this place if you are in the area and want to have a special meal with someone. Unfortunately they do not have hotchocolates, but that's a minor detail. Read more
Very warm welcome from the moment I stepped in this place. Was meeting a friend who had reservations. The drinks are made... beautifully! The food arrived and was cooked perfectly as I asked for, which was well done. I enjoyed my meal down to the lastbite! The barrel aged coffee topped off dinner and was just as good as the main course! Excellent place overall with awesomeservice! Read more
My boyfriend and I had such an amazing experience at Fine&Rare. The staff were really welcoming and helpful when describing the... items on the menu. I had requested a table with a great view for my boyfriends birthday and we were not disappointed. We had agreat view of the stage, the band was also incredible! The steak and sea bass were amazing, and the cocktails were to die for.The steak was so filling so we were too full for dessert but the staff made it extra special and delivered a small cupcake andmacaroons with a candle. You must dine here for a true NYC experience. We cannot wait to go back! Read more
I truly enjoyed my stay here , Starting with a nice positive welcome from the host. He sat me in front of the Band, which was... great but I had decided to ask him to move me some where else because I didn’t like that space. ( to squashed together), hesat me in a very comfortable space in-front of the fire place after and there I was able to enjoy the show and still be able andhave a conversation. My server Greg was amazing, he knew his menu and what to recommend since my husband has a nut allergy. Theworkers were Super accommodating and Kind, I recommend dining at this venue….
