Read that this was the best deep dish pizza in NYC.. and it didn't disappoint. They are not halal, but hey, we just went for the... cheese deep dish. Be warned, it is very filing so make sure you don't over order. Staff is very friendly, and thr food isawesome. Would visit again! Read more
Great for pizza but don't miss out on the dogs and sandwiches and awesome salads. Reservations are a must if you want to eat... inside. There are only 5 tables (4 for 2 people and one for 4 people) and only 6 bar seats. 12 outside tables under coverwhich are nice. Great vibe and lots of fun to eat here. I loved the cracker style crust on the thin pizza. Very crispy andthe Hot Poppi is wonderful. It is NOT hot at all so do not worry about that. The Chicago style Maria loved but I prefer thinpizza. She said it had great flavor, wonderful cheese and the crust had a nice yeast taste that was wonderful. I will say thati loved the crust on the Chicago style pizza. Full bar with strong drinks. My friend and I ordered the smallest deep dish pizza (10 inches) and couldn’t finish it. Pizza was delicious and really... filling. Crispy crust and really good sauce. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. Will be coming back! Read more
I took a seat at the far end of the bar and ordered a beer to go with my burger. The place is a bit small, and I had to jockey a... few times with the waitstaff who were trying to grab stuff from the kitchen. The burger wasn't bad, but not too memorable. Read more
Good food and service. A nice variety of Chicago style grub like Deep Dish Pizza with lots of cheese and the Chicago Style Hot... Dogs topped with the kitchensink. The burgers and fries were really good! The Italian Sausage was tasty as well. Our waiter Nickwas helpful and professional. I would definitely come back. Read more
Awesome Chicago food in NYC! Thin crust pizza was awesome, and good for two people. Good beer on top and salad and also good... music! We saw others with deep dish, and those looked very good too (4 years in Chicago myself… this was real Chicago food). Read more
Best pizza I’ve ever had, hands down. My new favorite pizza spot! My husband and I came here for lunch and we were not... disappointed! We absolutely loved the atmosphere, experienced great service and vibes, and the food was beyond incredible. Themozzarella sticks were easily the best I’ve ever had in NYC. I loved the melt in your mouth texture. The pizza was absolutelyheavenly. They also have a great wine menu. Bottom line is, Emmet’s is FANTASTIC! I’m married to a Chicago guy, and have had my fair share of Chicago beefs from the motherland. The Chicago beef here is fine... and gets the message across but is definitely not like they’re made in Chi. Not enough beef to bread ratio is what we thought.The deep dish here, however, is phenomenal. Made our own with sausage and giardiniera. Just a nice, casual spot to have somebeers and deep dish.
