I was so excited to try their brunch menu since I heard good things about this place. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. The... interior of this restaurant is so beautiful and the waiters were amazing. Really loved the service! However, food wasunderwhelming? the chicken and waffles looked and smelled delicious, but the waffle was so salty, I had to drizzle lots of syrupon it but it was still pretty salty after. Chicken was dry :( My boyfriend enjoyed his baguette though. The French toast wasgood, a bit too sweet for our liking. Maybe I?ll come again to try their other dishes. Read more

Mixed feelings. Cute little spot at the heart of Hell?s Kitchen and cherry close to the theatre district. We came here for lunch... and a couple glasses of wine. Price was OK: this is very close to Times Square so prices are on the higher end. However, dishportions were small. Borderline, it felt like a tourist trap; on the flip side the food was delicious. We tried the chicken dishand sirloin steak with vegetables. The sirloin steak was particularly delicious. We also had two glasses of Chardonnay. I wouldrecommend this place if you have visits and you want to take them to a cute spot with good service and OK prices for the area. Somebody had a vision for a restaurant with roaring 20s decor, amazing cocktails, and incredible food, and went about executing... that vision to perfection. The burger was perfect: juicy and full of flavor. The short-rib baguette was a wonderful contrastbetween tenderness of the short-rib and outer crisp of the baguette. Again full of flavor. Zoom in on the photos to see howjuicy they are. For the asparagus side, they shaved off the skin, you get the crunch without any toughness. No ordinaryrestaurant does that. We loved this place for dinner!!! Cocktails are nice too and Erick our waiter was great, he gave us nice recommendations. Also... is close to many theatres and they ask you in advance if you are going to a show so they can know when it?s time for you toleave. Overall a great experience, I wish we would have had more time to spend there. We were there for around 90min. If you arein the area, do not hesitate to visit this place. Read more
I couldn't be happier with my experience at Dolly Varden! The cocktails were ???????????? and oh so pretty! The duck breast was... perfectly cooked and well prepared. Did I need to get dessert? No. Did I get anyway because I was enjoying my meal so much? Yes.I am not a huge fan of toffee but this pudding was great and rounded off my meal well. My waiter David was accommodating to thefact I was going see a show and made sure I was finished with plenty of time to get myself settled in at the theater. We were looking for a place to kill time until the broadway show and found this gem of a place. Interior looked very nice and... almost gave a speakeasy vibe. Bartender was very friendly and gave us recommendation on cocktail, based on our preference. Mypartner and friend had the Harlem Sunset, which had the cutest ice shaped like a rose! I ordered the Pomp Goes The Whimsy, whichwas not overly sweet and tasted amazing! Definitely can't wait to come back here again and try their other cocktails! Read more
Talk about customer service. Between the bartender Michael and the manager Lindsay I would 10/10 recommend. Let?s start from... the beginning we arrived without a reservation and they recommended for us to sit by the bar while we waited for a table. Weended up staying at the bar because Michael was so awesome. We ended up doing the $55 unlimited mimosas and entre. I came withmy girls so we had the brisket sandwich, the breakfast burger, and yard bird sandwich. Everything was exceptional. The yardbird?s bread was soggy at the bottom and the manager Lindsay was quick to fix it and although I didn?t enjoy the second timearound it?s the customer service throughout the entire experience that guaranteed us returning. But pause the brisket sandwichwas juicy and flavorful, fresh baguette and just *chefs kiss*. The breakfast burger was also flavorful and cooked toexpectations. The vibes in here are exceptional DJ Brian did his thing. He set the vibe and his transitions and variety wasjust next level. And the highlight? Bartender Michael was amazing to interact with, he had great recommendations and just theenergy was rewarding. 10/10 would come back. Read more
