Had a decent pizza slice here. About $6-8 per slice so it is slightly expensive and definitely think you can get better pizza... for the prize but the pizza independently is okay and they have a bunch of toppings. Variety isn?t too much - only about 4pizzas. Small shop. Read more

Average pizza in an average locale. Nothing to brag home about, but not a bad pizza. It's just okay. The service was whatever.... Staff want bad by any means, but they are welcoming. Not a single acknowledgement of our existence as we looked at theoptions. Pizza is cold as it sits there, and they reheat it in the oven before they serve it to you, but you can't expect freshwhen you order by the slice. Still it was just average pizza. Again, just okay. This might be the most overrated pizza I've ever had. The Millennial Chum and I came by yesterday for a quick lunch on a very... gloomy/rainy Tuesday afternoon, thinking that the weather would scare off other customers and give us the run of the place. Thatpart was definitely true - we easily found the location a block or two north off the main Seaport thoroughfare on Fulton (youcan't miss the sign) and saw maybe one or two other people walk in while we were there. I imagine when the sun is out this placecan get pretty packed. I've never been to the original Di Fara location in Midwood, though I think if you're even casually intothe NYC food scene you've at least heard of it. I honestly don't know how the Seaport product compares to its Brooklyncounterpart, but hopefully what I had was an aberration. The interior felt very cluttered and not quite ready for business. I'mnot sure how recently this location opened but I'd guess it's at least been a few weeks. There were several areas covered insupplies, etc. so it didn't feel like they'd completely gotten everything off the main floor before letting customers in. Not agreat look, in my opinion. That said, this is a by the slice casual pizza establishment so I don't know that it necessarilyneeds to be gorgeous/pristine in there. The guy manning the counter was perfectly pleasant; no issues there or with the serviceoverall. I was pretty hungry so I got two plain slices, while the Millennial Chum dramatically had one pepperoni slice (someoneis going to be rocking a two-piece in Aruba shortly and wasn't willing to be naughtier than that). Part of this is personalpalate preference - I can't stand tomato sauce with chunks in it. Never have, never will. I want sauce to be a subtle supportingcast member, not something I actively have to chew to consume. Not only was the vast majority of the sauce chunky, but it hadalmost what I would describe as tomato entrails, these stringy, long pieces from the interior of the Read more

I was in the area for work and decided to stop in and get some lunch, I ordered 2 slices And a soda which came out to 16$... (jesus). So high price aside I figured the pizza would be really great given the places fame, and needless to say I wasn't veryimpressed, pizza tasted alright but for that price I can go somewhere else and save 25% on the price for just alright, nothingspecial in my opinion just another pizza place.
