Great View of the City on the 41st floor and beautiful for pictures or just hanging out and enjoy a drink with a few snack... options. The wagyu sliders are a must have. Hoping this review doesn?t start a line out the door but? WE CANNOT GET ENOUGH of this place and the views (no matter where we... have been seated), from the ambiance to the music to the familiar faces? it?s the perfect hidden gem/only in New York/Centralmeeting point for friends, family, co-workers, employees and visitors? trust us we?ve done all of it. ?Wow? is all we everhear. Gotta recommend some things on the menu too: The Leopard Print cocktail and the Wildest Redhead YUM!! Just YUM! Themixology here is so precise and intricate. You truly feel like a meal for a drink is being made with all of the delightfulingredients being gently added to each stir and shake. The Nibble Plate? we?re suckers for nibbles!!! But it?s such a goodcompliment to any of the drinks and pre or post dinner or theatre. I don?t know? We had our wedding here last year and it was an amazing experience! Classy, incredible views and surprisingly affordable! There... was plenty of food and drinks for our guests too, and everything was tasty! I can't even say enough about how much we loved thevenue! And the staff was very nice and accommodating too! Very nice pleasantly decorated rooftop with inventive cocktails. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and made our beverages... just based on our description what we liked and did not like. The view on the side facing Hudson River is ok, but has an outdoorterrace. The side facing midtown has much better views, but no outdoors and did not have AC which was a big decisive factoragainst it on a 85F day. Read more
Great rootftop bar with wonder view and great cocktails! It could be a bit windy here for some seats, but you can ask the staff... to close the windows for you. The cocktails here are pretty great. I would recommend the Twilight Java and the WildestRedhead. Come here at the evening so you can enjoy the daylight and the sunset. Read more
Cocktails with a side of Manhattan! Unless you get views like this elsewhere on your trip, it's worth a visit! Unless you're a... guest of the hotel, book ahead! Be warned also that parts or all of "Dear Irving" may be closed for private parties on a givennight, so don't rely on one particular night to go. You have to report to the hostess in the hotel lobby and wait for anelevator she activates to get you to 40th. This can get busy "on the hour" based on reservation times and it may be just me, butthe AC in the lobby and lift were close to non-existent. If you are considering having your event here, a birthday celebration, a reunion... I highly ???? recommend Irving on Hudson... Rooftop Bar. There is nothing like its incredible views, its ambiance, its comfortable seats, exquisitely delicious cocktails,their incredible customer service... This was my first time having my birthday celebration at a rooftop bar in NYC and it wasthe best choice for my celebration. The moment I arrived with the cake at Dear Irving, the manager (If I remember right her nameis Amanda) instantly came to me and took care of it. She has a very special way of speaking with her customers, really trying tounderstand and feel the event for you. She was so professional, so attentive and such an absolute blessing to have. Thebartenders also came by our table multiple times, asking us if we needed more drinks, anything special.. Eventually Amandabrought down the cake already lit with candles, she patiently waited for us to take pictures so she could take it back again tocut it and make sure everyone got their slice. The bar also gave us complementary drinks to accompany the cake which was onpoint with the tres leches flavor. It was perfect. Amanda was also very kind to offer a special complementary drink for me asthe birthday girl, asking me what I was interested in having at that time. The drinks were so good, the music, the space wasunbelievable, it was incredible! Truly NYC has so much to offer. Great rooftop bar with top-notch service. Staff is so nice and helpful. As a welcome gesture, they served welcome drinks for... special occasion. Manhattan view is awesome from every angle. Balconies are chilly in the autumn however it does not hold youup for a cool Manhattan picture with your drinks ???????? I will come again to Dear Irving for this view, if I ever visit NYagain (sure I will). You'll pay close to 50$ for 2 cocktails in total for the time being. (with 20% service charge) Read more
