Certainly worth a visit for some unique hot dogs...just not the best hot dogs in New York City. It is a typical East Village... kind of place. Entrance to a speakeasy called Please Don't Tell is through the old phone booth door. Best part of tho hot dogexperience is the fresh soft potato roll. Read more
A long walk through downtown Manhattan in a hot summer day is well worth to visit Crif Dogs! Cool, fresh and clean ambience,... nice music, friendly and fast service. The Good Morning hot dog is amazingly juicy and crispy at the same time (with Americancheese, a fried egg and wrapped in bacon). I will come back next time I'll be in NYC! Read more

I love how Please Don?t Tell, a speakeasy, is located inside this hot dog restaurant. It is super convenient because after... hanging out and drinking at the speakeasy, you can step out of the speakeasy and immediately order food. I only got tater totswhen I visited Crif Dogs, but it was very good. Freshly made tots that are nice and crispy - just the way I like it. The servicewas great and the guy at the front was super nice to my friends and I. It was definitely a great way to end our night of goingout. Read more
