We arrived at 8pm. It was super busy but we were seated promptly. Our server was very attentive. We ordered the hot/sour soup... and tofu vegetable soup. (Small portion- it was huge) and delicious. Such a great restaurant! Delicious food - great helpful service. Staff was courteous and the service was great, the food came... out hot and fast. One of the best Sichuan restaurants in the city. I?m a big fan of Chow House. If you want something a little more serious than your typical Chinese takeout order but with the... same classic dishes and no-frills style, Chow House is right up your alley. The pan fried dumplings were solid. The scallionpancakes were the best thing we ate. The general Tso?s chicken hit the spot. The spicy crispy beef was very unique anddefinitely spicy; I?ve never seen this on a menu but I?d definitely order again. I was expecting more of a stir fry cook to itbut it was actually crispy.
