Reviews for Chito Gvrito in New York, NY
I tried the food here once and I loved it, but what made me go back is the nutty express (espresso martini). It’s the best... I’ve had in NYC so far! It’s SO GOOD. It’s made with fresh coffee and a homemade walnut syrup. You have to try it. Read more
Georgian Restaurant in Gramercy. Georgian cuisine in the city it is small but very modern place. Big choice of different wine... from all over the world . Good amount special cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. Food is good we got Khinkali ,flavor of meatwas good just dough was a little to thick for me and I would like some kind of sauce with it. Polenta bolls was ok just saucehas no flavor. Pork was good as well just potatoes was missing some seasoning. In general I like this place and I would like tocomeback and try more Georgian food. Very cute and cozy place with really good food. If you never had Georgian food, this is a good place to try it. The cheese... bread is very tasty, you definitely need to have that. I also recommend the polenta balls and the dumplings. A pitcher of kompotis also mandatory! Read more

Service was on point, and my lunch was so yummy. Potatoes are well season and favored. The garlic chicken was also well seasoned... and very flavorful. A bit spicy but not too much. Read more
Loved this restaurant! We’re huge fans of Georgian wines (especially the Kindzmarauli) and hadn’t been initiated on the... food. The place was absolutely fantastic! The khachapuri which are their cheese boats are to die for. The one with eggs isamazing- we also got the cheese one but recommend getting another one instead. For meat eaters, this place is paradise. I’mvegetarian so didn’t get a chance to try it out but my friends found it very flavorful. For vegetarians, there aren’t manyoptions other than bread, cheese and eggs. They have a couple of egg dishes for brunch so I’d recommend going then. They gaveus this hot sauce with the scrambled eggs and it was one of the most complex and flavorful hot sauces I’ve had. We got the Chakapuli lamb stew and Espresso cocktail recommended from the people working here, they taste amazing. The lamb was... soft and juicy, the cocktail was fragrant with scents of coffee. The classic cheese bread also got a nice chewy texture. Read more
