Great place for a quick bite to eat. Had the chaufa (fried rice) which was really good. K was told it would be a 30 min wait but... it was done in less than 10. The food was hot and fresh. For the price and speed, this was such a good meal. A chaufa worthstopping for if in need for a quick bite. The empanadas were also very tasty, both chicken and beef. Will be back in the future. WOW! This place was great! Came here with friends for a Thursday night dinner and was not disappointed. What was pleasantly... surprising was how clean the restaurant was. It was very well maintained. There was also ample seating and it was pretty emptyeven though we went ~7:30p. Though initially tempted by the chicken sandwich, the Peruvian fried rice was calling out to me. SoI ordered it. And boy did it deliver. It was flavor packed! And such a big portion as well! Was really impressed by the flavorsand loved the hot sauce that came with it as well. I can totally see this being a "cravable" dish. Overall was impressed. Staffwere friendly and helpful and the food came out fast. Will be back here again Read more

Went here today 8/22/22 looking for a quick & healthy lunch to go. I tried the boneless chicken bowl with salad. I was back at... my desk in less than 10 minutes with exactly what I was looking for. Plus the food was much better than I imagined. I give thisplace a well deserved 6 star today & recommended it to everyone. Read more

Took out the half chicken combo with two sides. The cashier was kind enough to suggest the squash soup which was amazing, I... couldn?t stop eating. The Yuka fries are bomb and chicken was super juicy I could never replicate at home! They gave me threedifferent types of sauces which were mildly spicy. I underestimated how big half a chicken was! Def coming back Read more

For a small chicken joint, the flavor of the chicken is surprisingly really good. The service was excellent. The place is only a... few hundred square feet for seating. The food came out quick and tasted fresh and good. Price was reasonable and the portionswere very good. There is ample street parking after 7pm, apply sarcastic tone. Read more

The food was 3/5 and the price was 2/5 as I paid $25 for one bowl and one side. The stir fry didn?t taste like anything special... and the plantains were served warm-ish and not sweet. Not coming back. Read more

Chirp is a pretty good, very casual lunch spot. The menu is focused in three areas -- sandwiches, salads, and bowls (stir fry... or rice). I recently had a chirp chicken sandwich that was hard to navigate -- it was tasty but the sloppy sauce madecontaining the chicken a challenge. I also had the Peruvian fried rice bowl, which was just average. The chicken was modestlyportioned and most pieces were clearly the bits that didn't make their way into another dish (see photo for the sad littlechicken scraps that make their way into the "last resort" chicken bowl). For $16 (website prices are wrong, by the way), abetter product is required. Maduros (Peruvian plantains) are a good bet for sides from the (once again) incorrectly pricedwebsite menu. Ambiance is what you would expect from a place built for lunch takeout. Read more

One of my favorite "Penn Station area" restaurants. Simple menu and fresh dishes served piping hot! My favorites are the Chicken... combos and the Peruvian Fried Rice. Read more
