Stepped inside after seeing others enjoying lovely looking meals from the window and decided to try out. The lovely man behind... the counter was so sweet assisting us and not making us feel rushed. Great rice bowl with way too much chicken. Neither of uscould finish our meal! Read more
This place is a Mediterranean Chipotle. I did the build your own bowl with Basmati rice Base, spicy chicken, garlic dressing,... lemon herb dressing + other toppings. The pita chips on top are a must! If you like feta, get the crazy feta. Garlic dressing isvery good but very garlicky. Friendly service! $15 for a bowl. You get lots of food! One of the nicer Cavas in the city. Staff are courteous and they seemed eager to help. The place is always packed during lunch... so I recommend doing pickup and even with the pick up, make it 30 minutes earlier than your actual pick up time to ensure youdon't have to wait for your meal to be ready. After hearing so many great things about Cava i decided to give it a try and it was by far one of the most unpleasant... experiences. While the food was good, the service was absolutely terrible. When ordering, my friend and i were presented with nooptions. I asked which is their most popular base and he said "this is all we got", same for protein. This is understandable ifits near closing time but it wasn't. Other places provide the option of waiting 10-15 mins while they finish up in the back andbring some out. The line of employees serving the food seemed clueless, in a bad mood and barely said a word. When selectingtoppings i asked the guy if he could put pickled onions on the side for me instead of in the bowl. He seemed upset by my requestand proceeded to thank my friend for asking for the onions inside of his bowl rather than the side. My friend and i were side byside ordering the same exact thing and when we checked out (paid separately), i ordered a drink and my friend didnt yet he wascharged more than me when our bowls were identical. The person at the register provided very poor alternatives to theovercharge. Tables were dirty, no ice in the drink fountain and inconsistent portions. Would not return to this location. Read more
