Lovely, clean place with wonderful, well seasoned food. I got the chicken stew with mashed potatoes and it was truly perfect on... this cold rainy night. Also the woman who helped me behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be backwhen I?m in the neighborhood! Read more

Thank you CAFEdelia for the real Georgian juice!! It?s so hard to find 100% natural, added sugar FREE juice in NY made only... with real fruit and berries. I Just mix it with water and refresh myself during the day. Amazing!. And check my lunch view atthe dancing parade in NY???? Read more

holy. smokes. ???? I cannot use words to describe how much I?m in love with this cute Georgian restaurant. The foods were... phenomenal? all of them were a new experience to my taste buds. They were so cheap for such a big portion too and not to mentionthe 10% STUDENT DISCOUNT.???? CafeDelia deserves all the recognition in the world. 1. Adjaruli Khachapuri ($11.99) A cheeselover?s HEAVEN. The boat bread was just baked so the dough was super soft and warm. Ripping the bread from the boat and dippingit in the dreamy molten cheese, egg, and butter mixture just brought me straight to paradise 2. Churchkela ($7.99) ???? DIVINE.It?s nothing like I?ve tried before but I want to eat it again so badly! Unlike its sausage-looking appearance, it?s actually aGeorgian grape and walnut dessert. The texture is almost as hard and chewy as licorice but it?s taste is pure grape juice (butnot as sweet). Such a refreshing and light dessert. Wow 3 & 4. Spinach and Cheese Pie + Mushroom Pie ($5.99) ???? So bigdespite its cheap price!! Reminded me of a panini. It?s a complete meal and the dough was so soft it became one with the cheeseinside. Couldn?t get enough of it. Amazing experience overall. The waitress kindly explained many dishes to us and showedpictures. She even gave us free samples of the honey cake (which tasted beyond this world). Will be visiting this place everyweek, cannot recommend it enough Read more

I had the beef stew with mashed potatoes and also tried the double cheese pie and churchkhela and it was really delicious! I... 100% recommend the beef stew. Really friendly service too, the man who I presume is the owner personally explained the menu tous and recommended some dishes, I would say it was a great experience and I'm excited to return! If you have ever wanted to try out Georgian food, then this a great place to start. First of all, the service was superb, they... were nice and ready to answer any questions you have with the menu. The place was clean, and and they had pictures of the menuon the walls to help you make a decision. I almost always recommend the Adjaruli Khachapuri for first time Georgian food. CafeDelia?s version is different from what I?ve had previously which was thick and doughy, theirs was flaky and soft and made themeal so much better. Their Khinkali was perfectly seasoned, and our little one like their Imeruli Khachapuri, which was like astuffed pizza. We will definitely try this place again when we are in the area and craving Georgian food. Read more

Leave it to a city like New York City to help make Georgian food accessible. Cities have sit-down Georgian restaurants, but this... spot is more fast-casual. It's a tiny spot with friendly service. Pictures of the dishes decorate the walls, but a server ismore than welcome to recommend items. My wife and I split a khachapuri, warm flat bread from the oven with cheese, butter andegg. Mix it together for cheesy goodness. It was delicious! There are tables inside or you can get your order to go. Read more

Simply great. Authentic Georgian food in a takeout/counter-service format. Everything is cooked to order, and looks, smells,... tastes exactly like the food we had in Georgia or Georgian food we sometimes cook ourselves. They even have samples ofchurchkhela - awesome, simple and I dare to say nutritious dessert that is still somewhat next to impossible to find in the US.This place seems to cater a lot to the needs of NYU students. I hope they spread the word! P.S. extremely friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming staff is a big plus. Gives you a hint of the trademark ?Georgian hospitality? Read more
