Well I think whoever was working there didn?t know what they were doing. She first charged us for coffee that we didn?t order... but she does not know how to make coffee. I ordered a latte and she gave me drip coffee and poured milk in it. I went back andtold her I ordered a latte but she said that is, I explained it?s with frothed milk and she poured the whole cup of drip coffeeand milk and steamed that and poured it back in my cup. Anyway she offered to do it over but it was bad. Husband drip coffeetasters a day old. Do not go here for coffee. Read more

Cool place to mix and mingle with friends. If you have lots of patience this place is for you. They took forever to bring out... my fries. I waited up to 40 minutes for the fries then I asked for a refund. If you cant handle the bandwidth then dont servefood, point blank. Read more

Odd experience? ordered and paid $9.72 for two black coffees to go. I?ve gotten used to crazy high prices in NYC but this... seemed absurd. The staff person was talking on the phone the whole time they took my order and payment. I waited about fiveminutes in the empty cafe then received one coffee but don?t know what the second drink was - it looked like weak hot chocolateand tasted weirdly like a watered down version of the instant ?international delight? Irish cream lattes my parents drank inthe early 90?s. It was too late to deal with it by the time I tasted it. The coffee that was actually coffee wasn?t greateither. Unfortunate experience because it looks like this place is generally well rated? but based on the vibe today, thegenerally grimy/disordered impression I got while waiting, and the terrible coffee I wouldn?t return or recommend. Waited over an hour for crepes that were thick, fluffy, and made with pancake batter NOT crepe batter. I asked for chai tea and... was served hot water, milk, and loose leaf tea unstrained. Please don't put things on your menu if you don't even know what theyare, much less how to make them. Read more

Great little cafe on Frederick Douglass in Harlem. The iced coffee was delicious. The food was cooked very fresh and super... tasty. The home fries that come with the omelette were some of the best I?ve ever tasted in my life. The granola parfait withberries and honey was simply delicious. Must try if looking for a quick and fresh delicious breakfast/brunch in Harlem. Amazing! Read more

By far, my favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. I've tried all the newer ones that have popped up on Frederick Douglass,... but I feel most at home here. They have the most room, with the best decor and the most consistently perfect coffee. Love thecrepes and in the fall the hot apple cider. Read more
