Great restaurant! We went to BXL for dinner before and we're very pleased. The mussels were simply amazing and could easily be... shared as a meal for 2. The chicken on puff pastry was also delicious and I would highly recommend it. The overall service wasgreat and in particular, Conner was a great and friendly server, thanks Conner! Loved this Belgian bar/restaurant! A little gem in the heart of midtown with the friendliest staff, a great beer selection and... delicious food that is served in generous portions. Comfy outdoor seating is available, bar seating and a dining area indoors. Iwas surprised by how many tables there were in the dining area when I walked back...it appears deceptively small due to its cozycharm. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a delicious burger with brie and an enormous serving of muscles in white sauce. Seriouslythe biggest serving of muscles I've ever seen in a restaurant. Both served with French fries with ketchup and mayo...my fave.The bartender was great and he and another worker (maybe they are owners) often spoke in fluent French which made me feel likethis place was authentically Bemgian. A very nice place in NY ! A bar to chat, drink and a lot of tables for having breakfast, lunch or diner in a Belgian setting,... named 'BXL'. Stands for the capital of Brussels, Belgium, in french called 'Bruxelles'. But most of all, people.. they have manyof typical Belgian beers to drink.. especially DUVEL !! We Belgians like that a lot!
