Great ambience with the outdoor seating. Wine was cheap and tasty. Unfortunately food was pretty mediocre. Feels like another... ?Upper West Side?-ified cuisine: the food is fresh and well-made, but lacks the seasoning and spice and flavor you would expectfrom real Spanish food. Read more
More like 3.5 :) it was not bad overall, but not as good as I expected either. PROS - service was amazing! - really liked the... atmosphere. - a lot of menu choices. CONS - inconsistent cooking - some dishes slightly under, some slightly over. I do planon going back and trying other dishes in the menu that sounded great! Also, I arrived at 5pm when they opened, but leaving wasvery difficult to navigate through because like they mention on their website it is a small space. People were just kind ofstanding everywhere blocking tables from getting out. I might try patio seating next time. It looked cozy too, just lesscongestion :) Read more
The best tapas place I?ve been to in New York City. I came here with a group from work and we enjoyed the environment and ease... of continually ordering until we were full. I loved the shrimp, lamb, meat and cheese, octopus, asparagus - and my favorite wasthe bacon wrapped dates. If you?re looking for tapas this is the place. Read more
One of my fave spots on the UWS. The wine and the tapas are plentiful and scrumptious. Whether you pop in once a week or once a... year, you are always made to feel like a regular. ?? Read more
So good! The Sangre de Toro is delish. The service is great. The patatas bravas are tasty, but a bit overpriced. The steak was... good. The beet salad was delicious and the croquetas de queso de cabra with strawberries? my God!!! Read more
Buceo 95 is the best there is for Spanish Tapas. To start, the atmosphere is simply the best and the service is terrific.... Everyone knows tomate con pan is the signature starter for Spain, but Buceo takes it to the next level and adds jamon to it. Itis perfection. The next tapas we sampled were: bacon wrapped dates, and tortilla española (omg delish), and we didn?t have thepatatas baravas(this time), but the same garlic aioli was used in the Totillas, and it was very tasty. Next, we split theChurrasco, grilled skirt steak. It was perfectly grilled to our liking, seasoning was amazing. I loved everything I ate anddrank (red sangria pitcher!!!!), but the skirt steak was the best. Finally, we were able to enjoy the churros for desert. Theentire staff was so nice and helpful throughout our dinner. This is our favorite tapas venue in NYC. Read more
It is open late, staff is friendly and did not rush us even though it was near midnight. I loved the seafood paella, and the... peppers with cheese, fennel salad and spicy margheritas. Plenty of space and a warm atmosphere. I will definitely return to trymore of the menu Read more
