I love the Brooklyn Dumpling Shop. After dining there a few times and absolutely loving it, I decided it was the perfect place... to film my first short film. It puts such an innovative twist on the classic Automat dining model; it?s the perfect combination!Every manager I encountered was incredibly kind and accommodating, and I was just so honored and excited to be able to film in alocation that?s carrying on such a tremendous legacy. Finding this place felt like a magical moment, and it literally just keptgetting better and better. If you?re looking for tasty food and a trendy yet retro atmosphere, I cannot recommend the BrooklynDumpling Shop enough. LOVE! Came across Brooklyn Dumpling Shop looking for late night bites in the city. This place didn?t disappoint.. really cool... concept and all the dumplings are fresh. Great dumpling spot in the East Village with soo many varieties!! I never knew there are breakfast dumplings to dessert dumpling... options! You order yourself on this big tablet and when it's ready, you get it from your "locker" that opens up after you scan!Wow! What an automated-style restaurant! So advance in tech! One of my fav flavors were the Maryland crab cakes, pepperonipizza, and Kung Pao Burgers! If you just want a quick bite or snack and you love dumplings, come check this place out!! I was invited to try the Brooklyn Dumpling Shop and had a really fantastic time trying their delicious and unique dumplings.... While they do have a selection of more classic potstickers, it's the specialty dumplings and super cool automat technology thatset them apart from the rest. I tried the Philly Cheesesteak, chicken parm, crispy shrimp scampi, lamb gyro, and Tex-Mexdumplings, baconeggandcheese cro'sumplings, and chicken teriyaki pot stickers, plus waffle fries and frozen lychee frosépouch. My top 3 would have to be the crispy shrimp scampi, lamb gyro, and Tex-Mex but not in any particular order. They wereeach super unique in their own way with flavors that were spot on. The BEC cro'sumplings would be the perfect grab-and-goeveryday breakfast food. The chicken parm dumplings tasted better than some actual chicken parm I've eaten, my head is stillspinning a bit about that one. The Philly Cheesesteak dumplings hit every flavor you'd expect, kind of reminded me a bit of acheesesteak empanada, and paired really well with the hot and crispy waffle fries. The chicken teriyaki potstickers were more onthe classic than experiential side but still felt special, and I think they could satisfy any picky eater whose friends wantedto come here. That would be my recommendation for first time diners like myself. Come in a group so you can (in theory) try alarger variety of dumplings in one sitting. It was new year?s eve night and very late so I didn?t have many options to choose because it was already sold out but it was... delicious. And the owner(I guess) was very friendly he gave us some champagne because it was new year?s eve and he explained asystem of the restaurant because they don?t have servers. So we ordered food on a machine and got food through boxes in mypictures. I chose pepperoni and chocolate dumplings. Both were delicious. I recommend ???? Read more

Good Dumplings, they are not authentic but are great for what they are. All dumpling we are have their own distinct flavors. We... tried the scampi(literally taste like shrimp scampi inside), pork dumpling average flavor pan fried, pork soup dumpling( soup isoutside, dumpling was a little creamy, soup was flavorful), kung pow Dumplings had just the right amount of kick & pan fried.
