Reviews for Breads Bakery in New York, NY
The bakery has one of the best croissants! We were nearby catching some lunch and wanted a change and this was a great... change! What we ordered: Pain au chocolat (Chocolate croissant), chocolate Rugelach and Hot chocolate Taste: Super yum andflaky Pain au chocolat, it was soooo good! The chocolate rugelach ws yum as well but tasted eggy. The hot chocolate was reallygood! They made it by melting chocolate! Ambience: Didn?t feel like leaving! The smell of fresh breads, babka and so much morewas enticing! A thing to keep in mind: The place doesn?t have seating options inside and few tables outside. Best option iswalk to Central Park and enjoy it Read more
I had some of their Chocolate Pecan Tarte. The chocolate was dark and bitter, obviously high quality. The pecans tasted... freshly roasted. The tarte had a hint of sweetness?none of that corn syrup stuff. I also had some chocolate rugelach. It wasthe best-tasting chocolate rugelach that I have ever had as a native New Yorker. Breads Bakery is a must for connoisseurs ofgenuine dark chocolate. Read more

Oh, I'm coming back. Took a quick morning stroll through Central Park and my go-to is to Google best bakery near me. Well, it... didn't disappoint this time. The line was nearly out the door when I got here but service was quick and I was up near thepastries in no time. I ordered the cheesecake bun, which is brioche with raspberry jam. To drink, I got an oat milk mocha fromquite possibly the sweetest barista in all of NYC. Seriously, someone give him a raise. I'll be back later this month to getsome of the other cheesecake offerings because hello, cheesecake babka?! That should almost be illegal so I have to have it. Sohappy I discovered this place during Cheesecake May. Read more

Can't credit enough how good this spot is! Went to the infamous Dominique Ansel Bakery, waited 1 hour to get in, and the food... was just ok. Went here at 3 pm, got everything in 10 min, and was happy as never before! The coffee is extraordinary good andthe mini croissants are probably one of the best baking goods I tried in NY! I originally bought just 2, but when I ate them, Irealized I couldn't leave without buying more;) The best part is that they taste almost the same the next day. Definitely, amust go! Read more
Excellent Chocolate Babka, Challah, Croissants were nice and flaky, Palmiers were great too. Get here early during the holidays... I got the last two Chocolate Babkas at around 3pm. Small discount for getting two Chocolate Babkas. Highly recommend stoppingby, they do make you wait outside as they keep a capacity limit so dress warmly. Read more
