The place was busy when we entered but were seated right away. The menu is kind of limited, slightly pricy, and the food was... just alright. My wrap was soggy and my sister’s Brekkie Board was sent back because of how completely burnt her toast was.When they brought it back, it was missing the cheese. Thankfully the staff was nice. One of the best spots for brunch and coffee in the Upper West Side. I have a soft spot for Aussie spots and Blue Stone does not... disappoint. Their flat white is probably one of the best I’ve had! My favorite menu item is their twist on a BLT called aBLATE—essentially a traditional BLT with avocado and egg all sandwiches together between a soft brioche style bun. The saladsand other menu items are also great. The staff are friendly and the place is well lit. The only downside is that it’s notsuper big and you can be waiting a bit for seats. Read more

Walked to this restaurant on a whim. It was a great idea to do so because it was great. I had a chicken burger with avocado and... bacon with a flat white coffee. The chicken in the burger had such a fresh taste! My bf had a brekkie board which featuredavocado toast with feta and cherry tomatoes along with fruit parfait. Both were amazing! Let me start out by saying this is my go-to coffee shop on the UWS, even after moving a little further away. The coffee is... always good (Hot/Iced) the pastries are always fresh and the staff are amazing. Only thing I would change would be the size ofthe sides you get with a main meal. This (see picture) was mine today - I get they’ve got limited space for delivery andperhaps you get more if your order/eat in store, but this is the only negative I’ve had in the 6 months I’ve been coming toBluestone UWS. Came here on a Sunday morning and there was a bit of a wait, but not crazy. Very quick and easy to order from the app, but also... easy enough to track an employee down to ask any questions or order from them. The cappuccino was delicious and highlyrecommended! The almond croissant was alright, but would have been much better if they took the extra min to toast it or heat itup as the filling just came out in cold chunks, so I would probably stick to the coffee and the prepared breakfast food goingforward.
