Beautiful spot for a breakfast tea service. Unfortunately, the experience is slightly marred by how loud it gets in there! I... came here alone on a Sunday AM right at open to have tea + treats and read my comic book. The hostess and servers were allcourteous but seemed very stressed and busy even though the initial morning service wasn't too crowded. 45 mins latereverything changed and the whole place was PACKED. The acoustics were not great and it was like being in an echo chamber ofnoise. Not a peaceful breakfast time at all. The pastries and tea were lovely though they were out of their house signature tea(odd since I was at the first seating). The portions were huge! I finished about a third of the full set and took the rest togo. Overall, the place is beautifully appointed. Just a little too noisy and bustling for first thing in the morning. Read more

The food was amazing. The vibe was amazing. I have been disappointed with brunch but this was great. Fried chicken and waffles... was perfect. Great fry on the chicken and the waffles aren't overwhelmingly sweet. Read more

Oh my God! Denisia The assistant manager made our night extremely spectacular. I wanted to hug her so bad. She was truly... amazing. Her personality, her attitude, extremely professional and very accommodating. We told her we were in a hurry and shemade sure the food was on time and the drinks were made none other than the very best JJ. The food was over the top amazing. Thechef could go a little less on the salt though. I normally don’t give a good review for most restaurants are even a goodcompliments but this place would be nothing without assistant manager Denisia and my drinks mixer JJ. I am normally a complainerto the max but they all out did themselves including the chef. The food and the service was exquisite. Read more

The food is just average, not up to the standard the brand, decor and price point might lead one to expect. We tried dishes such... as the steak which was pretty good, but the salmon, the pasta and the Indian curry were average at best. I was expecting more. The French fries were really good. The service is fast and attentive, the waiters can suggest dishes and recommend wine. Theplace is pretty good if you’re going out on a date or a special occasion. Overall, it’s okay, but don’t expect too much. Read more

So I was quite disappointed with the afternoon tea experience. This was for our 15 year wedding anniversary. First thing was... the water. We both left the tea to steep for a couple of minutes, only to find out the water was not even piping hot. The whitetea pots were scuffed up, like they used metal brushes to clean them, very sad. They even used a tea bag for my wife's tea, pathetic. After the water was replaced, I found a chip in my tea cup. Really? That cup should have been thrown out. Seephoto. The cucumber sandwich had a slice of stale bread while the other slice was decent. See photo. The top slice was thestale piece. The service was also mediocre. Clotted cream and jam were the little jars one would get at the supermarket, notdone in nice ramekins. We had better service at the Orangery in London and Alice's Tea Cup in Manhattan. Decor was nice, butthat is the only nice thing I can say about this place. Read more

Went with friends for afternoon tea. $55 was a reasonable price, but it just wasn’t that nice. Maybe their meal options are... better but the quality of the product for afternoon tea was average or below (I couldn’t even finish the cakes as they justtasted of sugar). Great views though and lovely decoration, just a shame about the food. Read more

Delicious food and excellent service. The food is a little expensive but worth it. This restaurant overlooks Columbus Circle... which is really nice. I definitely suggest and recommend you check this place out! Read more

This is quickly becoming my fave brunch spot in the Upper West Side. It has great views of Columbus Circle so even if it’s... gray and rainy out, the restaurant is bright and cheery. The food’s UK flare is both comfort food but not heavy. Must order:Bed of Roses champagne cocktail, the truffle fries and the truffle Caesar salad with juicy grilled shrimp is highly recommended. And if you have the chance, make sure to be seated with server, Sean. He has great advice on what to order, his timing isperfect-he always checked in with us just at the right moment. Not too much, not too little. He was attentive and super friendlywithout being too chatty. Everyone I bring, loves it. Read more
