While browsing the Times Square area, we stumbled upon this delicious authentic Mexican taco place. They take debit or credit... (tourist-friendly)! The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations. It was very nice inside the store with brightcolours. There were lots of best sellers that we could have tried like the Chimichanga Plate, Burrito Plate, or even ShrimpFajitas. We ended up deciding to order a "Build Your Own" series with tacos which came with soft shell corn tortillas (or youcan order flour tortillas). You can advise the toppings you want as the chef makes the order! They packed the tacos in analuminium container which carried well. They were well assembled during the order process. The food here runs toward the more authentic side of Mexican cuisine. I had nachos. You order at the counter here and build... your own dish a la Chipotle. The one downer was that it was a tiny bit expensive. Nachos and a medium fountain drink: $17. Read more
I used to came here at least once every NYC office visit I had from my base town Amsterdam. Because of Covid haven't been here... for 2.5y Took my family on a NYC trip this year and we happened to be in the area during lunch time so I took the family! For a small little place, surrounded by many many other larger restaurants, the food here was AMAZING! and the portion sizes... were well beyond what you?d expect from anything in NYC. I used to love this place but the quality has dropped significantly and the last time I was in I was told they had bottles of... Diet Coke, meaning 20oz. I ended be given a warm 12oz bottle, for $4!!! Such a rip off!! They wouldn?t even give me a refund.Never going back. Read more
