This was my go-to comfort restaurant until tonight. I ordered via Uber Eats (I have contacted them). Uptown receiving my order,... to my surprise, the portion I received was nothing was disappointing. I ordered Bicol Express, and it was less than half of apint (much less than 12 oz). I have preferred here before and their portions have always been reasonable but tonight was a muchmore different level of capitalism and stinginess. I retract my previous review of this restaurant and I would implore othercustomers to go to Grill 21. They are always consistent with their customers. Read more

My first time for lunch in this nook on 1st Ave. and 74th st., customer-friendly, one-man-band, seems short-staffed. Wall... decorated with "bilao" native woven platters in different sizes, large colorful mural displays E74th st, news clipping ofproprietors. Menu had mostly crossed-off dishes, Mike, states "unavailable" Our group was lucky to try " pinakbet" " Ampalaya"Fried fish with rice, Soda, All overwhelmingly salty, including vinegar sauce for the fried fish.Enough to trigger cardiac eventfor the vulnerable.Sweet Turon for dessert saves the day. We bought longsilog, tapsilog, and arrozcaldo for breakfast and later we had shrimp sinigang and inihaw BBQ chicken. All were so... delicious and I highly recommend them! Their lumpiang shanghai is really good too! We usually go to Bilao after my doctor'sappointment and I believe the location is very convenient to the hospitals - Cornell, HSS, Sloan Kettering, and Mount Sinai. Welove supporting local businesses and healthcare workers. The management is a group of nurses which is amazing! Read more

Crispy Pata and Lumpiang Shanghai were absolutely amazing. I also got a calamansi juice, and it was great. I recommend going in... as a group and order a few as the portion is huge for the price. Read more

Yummy and affordable Filipino food in Upper East Side. The menu has a variety of dishes to choose and pretty affordable. The... food is very well-seasoned. Sisig is so good, highly recommend. The bulalo has a little sourness, while the kare kare has a verystrong peanut butter taste. The vegetable dish is creamy from the coconut milk. Read more
