I went to the new "grab-go" location. Their chicken is good, BUT....it's buried in a lot of breading. I know that's like the... main draw for people, but at some point you also want some food value too...I would say, averaging the pieces of Honey Chicken Iate, the breading was ~60% by weight, ~70% by volume of the entire meal. I would pay $1-$2 more per plate, for a lean versionwith a little breading (not without breading, but less breading). The coleslaw is fresh and good. The kimchi rice is value formoney. As long as they can keep the chicken meat coming fresh (ie volume business) and reduce the breading they get 5 stars. Read more

Food was delicious! I haven?t eaten at bb.q chicken in a long time, but since this location opened up by me, I decided to give... it a try and I?m glad I did! Interior looks really clean and organized, and the seating area upstairs was spacious andcomfortable. The chicken was crispy and juicy!! We didn?t know what flavor we should get since bb.q chicken is known forcooking up different types of chicken but after having a conversation with the Assistant Manager Minhyeok, he recommended us theGolden Original and Honey Garlic. We usually always get bone-in for our chicken but they only had the boneless for GoldenOriginal, and I was surprised by how juicy and NOT DRY the meat was for being boneless! It?s also double fried so it was verycrispy. We got wings for the Honey Garlic and it was a great combination of sweet/savory/salty! It was my first time trying itand I would definitely get this one again in the future. We also got the kimchi fried rice which had MASSIVE chunks of chickenso you?re really getting your bang for your buck, not to mention a really good kimchi flavor. Their ddeok-bokki (spicy ricecake) was a bit on the spicier/less saucy side but the flavor was good. I also like that there was half a boiled egg init! This location has an array of drinks available as well! We got a few typical Korean soft drinks but we also learned thatthey also sell draft beer! Awesome Korean based fried chicken franchise opens a second location stand alone location in Manhattan. This location is a great... ?grab and go? location where you can grab freshly prepared items and dine in or take out. We got fried chicken and kimchi friedrice, both were great. The fried chicken remained warm and crispy when it reached home, and was better than when you buy it atH-Mart. The kimchi fried rice was delicious and had the right amount of spice. The pickled radish is a great addition with thefried chicken. Definitely recommend when craving Korean fried chicken, fried chicken, or Korean comfort food at a good priceand quick! Read more
