This pizza was dope. It took less than 12 min to go to the counter, order a custom pizza, and have it in hand. Classic NY Style... thin crust. My fellow Chicagoans will disown me but NYC definitely has the superior style of pizza imo. Read more
Angelo’s pizza was very closed to Central Park when the kids went to the Heckscher playground on a Saturday, so we decided to... walk down to near W 54th Street and try it out. Though I would not call myself a big fan of Italian food, the arugula salad withgrilled shrimp was delicious with the salad dressing was well mixed with the greens. The kids liked the half cheese and halfpepperoni pizza, but they each had merely one slice and felt full. I had one slice of pizza and felt pretty full too. My husbandate the leftover slices when we brought them home, and he was happy. :) Read more
This place was absolutely delicious. We really wanted Italian on our visit to New York and we weren’t disappointed by our trip... to Angelo’s. I had the pepperoni pizza and my partner had the meatballs. Both were absolutely delicious and the right size.The waiter was friendly and brought our order promptly. They also provided tap water. It was rainy day and we stooped by here for quick dinner before the show. The location was perfect for us. When I got in,... someone checked the vaccination card and ID which became norms now these days. I had to put my bag down on the wet floor to takeout the wallet. And then when i went upstairs to be seated, someone else asked my vaccination again. Maybe need somecommunication between them. Anyways, the dining area was surprisingly spacious and all the foods came out pretty fast. I orderedpizza, pasta and first and added antipasto, thought i will have it with the bottle of wine while waiting for the foods,unfortunately antipasto came at the last. So we had to wait to wait for it come. Nothing super special here but it is easy to goto. Read more
The decor was better than the food, we got our pasta that was raw even though our server took it back and didn't charge us for... it but it would have been better if they didn't mess it up in the first place, especially if they take pride in cooking Italiancuisine. The music didn't match the ambience they were aiming to create so that could be improved. Read more
