Incredible spot, we love to come here: 1. The folks here are so nice, they put on a show. I have sat at the bar, the bar person... is great, we have had team dinners, and we have done a romantic dinner - all amazing. 2. Wine selection is wonderful - greatwines, not over priced either. 3. Ask for the seafood appetizer medley, three apps, wonderful. 4. Have had many things on themenu, we did the special, hollow pasta (spaghetti) with meatballs and tomato sauce - the best. 5. Forgot to mention thestarters, cheese, meat, zucchini, peppers. 6. Dessert - amazing, finished with Limoncello A hidden NYC gem - 47th and 3rd. Donot miss it. Read more
The Ambiance and Warm treatment from the moment you step in the door of Allora is second to none, by far the Best in NY! The... Best broccoli and linguini clam pasta as well as their garlic chicken. The only down side was the risotto was too al dente formy taste. Amazing place! Read more
The whole house staff, owner, host, waiter, bus, etc. are fun and welcoming. I had a wonderful meal of insalata tricolores and a... special squid ink ravioli with lobster, crab, and shrimp. The waiter brought a complimentary appetizer and after-dinner drink. Read more
Pulled up a seat at the bar. After ordering the bartender brought out complimentary prosciutto and mozzarella. Both the Lobster... Bisque and the pasta with scallops and a spicy tomato sauce were not on the menu but available to order which was awesome.Lobster Bisque was ok on flavor plenty of lobster meat. Scallops were cooked to perfection and the spicy tomato pasta was justspicy enough for me not to overpower flavor. Will definitely come back when I'm I'm town again. Read more
Like everyone else says, the customer service here is definitely the best. Very friendly, fun, NY Italian style and very very... attentive. You definitely enjoy going there alone or with big group. There is a bar area for quick dinner or drinks too. I sawlots of solo diners. I went with a friend and We had full dinner and the soft shell crab was Amazing!!!! I would go back therejust for that. Their famous looooong pasta with meatballs was also amazing. Only down side was the dessert. They probablydon’t have proper dessert chef. I say just get grappa for dessert and that should be sufficient. Lovely fun place to go. Read more
