Good sandwich - got the Italian one with Mozarella cheese and a ton of salami. The portions are huge, the bread is done just... right, and the food is made quickly. There's enough eating inside for 15 people or so. Prices are on the higher end$16/sandwich, but definitely an experience. Read more
The sandwiches here are great but are sometimes made not per the menu. I ordered a Pinocchio today and even paid extra to get... capicollo added but the mozzarella was omitted. I work too far away to head back and get it revised. Will be checking my foodbefore I leave if I end up going back. Read more
Sandwich was okay even though it wasn't exactly what I ordered... fair warning DO NOT go here during weekdays during lunch... hours, expect a long wait or your order being messed up. This place is consistently an absolute experience. I've worked in the area for years and it was always a little too pricey. Now... that prices have shot up everywhere but stayed mostly still at Alidoro, their subs compete with everything in the neighborhoodbut are on a whole different level of quality. Every cut of meat, paste or jam, bread choice, and vegetable is the absolute topquality of its kind and the flavors are unlike any other sandwiches I can find. Most of the meal is spent slowly chewing with myeyes closed and making crying noises. Can't recommend this place enough, my god. Try the Sara or the Il Sole for one of mygenuinely favorite meals ever. Read more
Have been to here before for lunch and sandwiches are fantastic, unfortunately the Moynihan location is not keeping up with... their quality. Got to most pathetic breakfast sandwich I?ve ever seen (tiny, not real egg,almost no pesto, and the thinnestslice of mozzarella I?ve ever seen).
