I almost forgot to take a picture (thats why they are half eaten)! I got the BBQ and Hawaiian slices, so they were $2 each... instead of the $.99. But it was worth the extra buck! Especially the BBQ pizza.. I would go back just for that. It is made freshto order (unless you get cheese, which they have already made because they sell out of that one so quickly.). As I was ordering (slowly) the server looked deep into my eyes knowing exactly what my stupid self was trying to say, and... without breaking eye contact, he produced the slice of pizza that I so deeply needed. Literally one dollar cheese pizza $1.50 for pepperoni!! You just have to get over the appearance of the locale and try it out!... First time having NYC pizza and it was definitely different than the West Coast pizza I?m used to. There?s definitely lessmarinara sauce and the bread just tasted difference. Not too greasy! We were recommended by a bar bouncer who had great thingsto say which eased our hesitation from the outside appearance. Staff isn?t friendly. Truly very little pizzas compare to the value and deliciousness that 99 cent fresh pizza has to offer. There are many of these... babies sprinkled throughout Manhattan and we were fortunate enough to have this near our hotel at Conrad Midtown on our way toCentral Park. God was shining down on us when we visited as we only had one guest ahead of us. The moment we blinked, we foundthat about ten more people lined up behind us. Guess the secret?s out and everybody wants a slice, you feel me? The place isabsolutely no frills. You pick your slice (or pie) and whatever toppings you want, you pay, they heat up that baby for you, andyou enjoy. It?s standing room only in this little joint and you?d best be prepared to be shoulder to shoulder if you?re tryingto enjoy your slice in here. They have condiments on the walls of the place and nobody?s judging you for how many red pepperflakes and Parmesan cheese you load up on there, but with how delicious these slices are you may not even need toovercompensate.
