Can't recommend this place enough. As frequent visitors to NYC, we found 65 Marketplace on our last visit in June. Staff are... really friendly, the seating is good, toilets clean and the food is very fresh. Prices are excellent for Manhattan. Masses ofchoice. We did breakfast a few times and a lunch time snack. Husband and I usually order breakfast sandwiches : sausage egg and cheese on a roll. Came here the first time and instead of a... sausage patty they gave us a hotdog sausage?!?!? Never have I ordered a sausage egg and cheese from any deli and got served anhotdog sausage instead of a patty. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered the same thing another day and watched themcarefully as they made it and this time they made it with a sausage patty!!! So the first time was a one off, and so my husbandand I became a regular there because when they get it right, the sandwiches are pretty amazing. But this morning we went backand ordered the usual and not sure if it?s just one cook that does it but he served us a hotdog sausage AGAIN!! So turned offfrom this place now officially and won?t be going back. They lost a regular customer, and on top of that they raised theirprices by an dollar. Read more
We were kind of worried after we committed to eat at this restaurant. But, once done the food was really pretty good. We did the... buffet and tried many different items. Traveler tip: Beware, that where they get you is with the chips and drinks - roughly$3.50 each so it adds up quickly. For two buffet boxes and two drinks it was $49 total so budget accordingly. This is NYC and this place is within Wall Street. The expectations are high and this place answers the call. It?s really large,... and has the largest selection of food offerings in the area. It was late afternoon when I stopped by for a latte but I?m sureduring lunch hours that this place is rocking. There?s plenty of dining, with a upstairs dining area that?s reached by asurprisingly out of place staircase. It?s a nice staircase that would seem to have come from a Victorian styled house. Veryawesome to take photos on. It?s kind of pricey but that?s solely based on the money making area. I didn?t have time to eat but Icould have sat down with some vegetarian food and even had a beer. Was in the financial district around 10 o?clock I needed oatmeal and didn?t feel like walking to my usual place about a mile... away so I stopped in here not expecting much but I was able to find that not only did they have open, they let you take out whatyou want and add your own toppings to it which is always appreciated. This is how Whole Foods used to do their?s but they havesince gone back to prepackage in the oatmeal which doesn?t work because you can lose its heat when sitting in the individualcups. very statisfied with this place, bulky young man staff with beard was really friendly ????, i had not purchase my food yet but... he kindly told me the store's restroom direction (probably he's aware i'm foreign tourist). the restroom is nice and clean???? buffet was nice, the store has large collection of beverages, and large coffee section the store has free wifi but it'spassword protected. i asked the cashier the password after purchasing my food and she kindly did told me the password ???? theplace is really comfy, lots of tables to sit down, very nice music, and charging port available 10/10 would go again Read more
Food is good enough for 2+ stars but the pricing is where you get gypped. It's definitely expensive but you get swifly G'd at... the scale whether or not you're watching. The chicken tenders are great, sushi too. The soup is lacking a lott. Starting withtaste. Read more
