Met family for dinner while we were in town. The space is large, with ample seating for many. Live music made it a bit hard to... talk, but the band was good, so one can't really complain. Food: my wife shared the seafood platter for two. There was a ton offood -- easily enough for three, even. Seafood was perfectly cooked, which is no small feat with it being two kinds of fish,shrimps, scallops and calamari. My roast lamb was generously portioned, but a bit bland -- as was the rice/potato accompanyingit. Likely just a bit short on salt and lemon juice. For what's charged, I'd have expected a little more flavour, but it wasn'tterrible, and it was a generous portion. Decent wine list, lots of food choices on the menu, and we were brought acomplimentary dessert, which was a nice touch. Service was quite attentive and very friendly, too. Read more

My spouse and I just moved to New Westminster and needed a nearby place to relax after unpacking, and thank Dad for his help... with the move, and we came across Stefanos on our way down to Columbia Street. We were greeted promptly by both waitresses nearthe bar, who welcomed us and commiserated over moving in to a new place in the middle of a heatwave. We ordered some drinks forthe table, and our waitress even brought us a pitcher of ice water to refill our glasses (we were going to ask for one, but shemanaged to beat us to the punch on it.) We had a wonderful order of Dolmades that were absolutely delicious, along with agenerous serving of a very fluffy and warm pita bread. Our main courses were fantastic; with the portions being very generousand very tasty. We split a piece of the Baklava Ice Cream cake, which our waitress provided to us complimentary as a welcome tothe neighbourhood. The service, food and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and exactly what we needed as a respite andrecharge after our move. Highly recommend! Read more

We ordered take-out this evening, as we had dined in several times in the past, but good food in doesn't necessarily mean good... takeout as some dishes just dont translate well. We spoke with Katie and asked her advice on which dishes would work best astake-out. She took the time and effort to help us, detailing the dishes, garnishes, and sides. We went with the platter #2,Halibut, lamb souvlaki, moussaka, prawns and scallops for 2. It was fantastic! (we exchanged the lamb for chicken, done with noconcerns). The seafood was cooked perfectly, rice and potatoes were just the right amount of lemon/garlic and the Tzatziki wascool and fresh.We added salp & Pepper wings, and the Souzoukaia (tasty little meatballs with a tomoato sauce and feta), asappies and they were great. The portions were more than adequate, we regrettably had to leave some small amount of rice andpotato on our plates as we were STUFFED! I phoned them around 1:30 pm To make sure, they will open for lunch and will serve happy hour meal or not?! My hubby and I went... there Around 2:35 pm. They gave us window seats. Only 2 tables of customers there, including our table, not busy. Our waitergave us alcohol menu and dinner menu, after we sat down. I tried to ask For lunch menu, but the waiter told us, they don't havelunch menu on holiday. But someone who answer their phone at 1:30pm. They serve lunch at 2:30 pm? Our waiter said, " you canorder roasted lamb, we can split it into 2 dishes for you, but we will charge you $3 more" Then he left. I tried to order theirappetizer...Steamed mussels, but our waiter told us, they sold out.. so disappointed ???? So, We ordered chicken livers And Redsangria to start, after 5 minutes. Chicken livers --- deep fried onions on top, But not crispy --- 8 big pieces of tastelessoily chicken livers --- with thick and tasteless tzatziki ???? --- we don't like it Red sangria --- tasteless and too muchice Pita bread --- look oily and pale, when they served --- but surprisingly.. it's fresh, hot and Crispy, after you bite on it???? We tried to ask for happy hour menu around 2:45pm. Our waiter said, " you only can order after 3 pm. The food item withgreen logo will charge half price, but of course Half portion of regular size" With unhappy voice. After we checked their happyhour menu, not much Greek food, look like pub's menu.. Then we ordered roasted lamb @ 3 p.m. with our waiter. The waiter triedto take All the menu from us And leave, after we ordered the roasted lamb. I told him.. Food is okay. FYI do not get the chicken platter. They simply give you one chicken kalamaki which is 3-4 bites (they should give... more chicken for that price). Ambience, it?s great! If you get a chance visit during Christmas! I am giving 4 stars because ofthe chicken portion and last time I visited with family we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come and take our order andanother 50 minutes for our food. On top of that we had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to get the bill. I was verydisappointed ??. I understand that it is not easy for the servers when the restaurant is busy and it could also be stressful forthem as well if customers are yelling at them for waiting forever (hopefully it doesn?t happen).
