I have been here a few times already. They make great tasting ice cream. Not too sweet and full of flavour. My favourites are... their Rocky Point Road, Cookies and Cream, and the Mango Sorbet. The New West store could do with some more flavours forsorbets, like their Port Moody location. That would be nice. You get a pretty sizable scoop too. Bonus, they even have adog-friendly ice cream! The chocolate ice-cream is so yummy. When I bring the ice-cream cone back to the coffee shop, my wife ask me where you get it. ... I tell her that I don't know but a nice shop at the end of the street. When we are back to the corner store, she say how comeyou don't know Rocky Point. Do you remember that when we visit the original shop in Rocky Point Park of Port Moody. There arealways a long line up. She notices that they have some pretty ice-cream cakes too. Delicious creamy ice cream at this busy parlour. Yummy waffle cones and generous portions make this place lots of fun to visit.... I had two flavours on a single size cone. Went on a weekday afternoon and the line was quite short, only one or two people. There were a number of flavour choices and the... staff were helpful with providing recommendations and samples. Ordered a single scoop of mint cookie on a waffle cone. The icecream was refreshing and the sweetness of the cookie pieces matched well with the mint flavour. Read more

After a somewhat late dinner with a friend of ours, my daughter wanted ice cream for dessert. We like ice cream just as much as... she does so we were more than happy to grant her wish! While I've got nothing against Dairy Queen and do enjoy it from time totime, we were in the mood for something that was not Dairy Queen. A quick search on Google told me that Rocky Point Ice cream inNew Westminster was still open; so off to Rocky Point Ice Cream we went! Our friend ordered Dark Chocolate Raspberry, mydaughter had Cookie Dough, and I had Plant Based Oreo Mint fudge. Yum, yum, and yum! I really loved my Plant Based Oreo MintFudge. Always so happy to try something plant based and find that it's just as good as the regular stuff! Rocky Point Ice Creamis unique too in that they also sell treats for dogs.
