Simply awesome!! This was easily one of the best steaks I have ever eaten, period. This T-Bone was recommended by George... himself, and it was delicious, fresh, tender, juicy..... . Good decent home cooking, deserts, and biscuits, along with arelaxed, casual atmosphere, oh and a full bar! Mr George and crew have got it going on! I will be here as often as I can whenI'm in town! First timers for dinner. Place was packed and very busy. Usually need to call ahead and get reservation so we learned, but we... were lucky and got a table. Service was a tad slow but place was busy. I had the low cal salad with steamed veggies (3 differentkinds) with lettuce, and fruit (3 different kinds) and my boyfriend had pork chop with soup, baked potato and steamed veggies. He asked for medium well but the pork was medium and not cooked to his liking. However the salad was great, homemade ranchdressing and homemade everything we were told. My husband and I came in on a Monday night and were seated right away. This place is pretty small so if you were eating here on... a Friday or Saturday night you would definitely want to make a reservation. My husband and I both got the George's steak specialwith Salad and baked potato. The food was great, and the one thing I would do differently is ask for the dressing on the sidebecause there was almost more dressing than lettuce. However I still really enjoyed my salad.
