Place with charming and gentle atmosphere. Preparation of our meal did take some time but it was worth it. Make sure to try... sweet potato puffs, I was pleasantly surprised with the taste! Loved the location, outdoor seating without wind&street sounds. Our waiter Jess was great! Would absolutely come back! Read more
No reservations, so we sat inside the bar area which is quaint and has a very modern feel - excellent piece of art is the... centerpiece! Great service! We had an Australian Sauvignon Blanc, the lollipop lamb appetizer, fillet and shrimp special andwhite clam chowder, all was cooked to perfection. Filet especially well seasoned and scrumptious. Live music - ???? and a BarryWhite style singer made for soothing ambience. This is a must go place in New Smyrna Beach IMHO. Read more

Had a wonderful evening at the Courtyard Grill. Located in a little side walkway off of Flagler near the beach. Had great... service from John our server. This is a family owned restaurant and most the workers are all related. I had the 14oz NY Stripmedium rare with roasted red potatoes. It was delicious! Coated in what I think is butter with salt and pepper seasoning. Thehouse salad with bread was wonderful. For dessert we had the 3 layer chocolate mousse cake and it was very good. Between the 3meals there were no left overs at all. Friday and Saturday nights they have a wonderful musician named Daniel Saxon. He playsthe saxophone and has a wonderful beautiful voice. We stayed and a had a couple cocktails after dinner just to listen to him.Seating is basic table and chairs, nothing fancy. No booths. Not really out doors as it has a roof but feels out doorsy. 2bathrooms. 1 for women and 1 for men. They are single bathrooms that only allow 1 at a time with a lock so no one else willenter. Very clean and roomy. Love this place and will definitely be back. Read more
Our son recommended this place to us, and I'm SO glad he did! We called ahead and reserved a table (I would suggest you do the... same), and we're seated immediately when we arrived. We were greeted by our server, JoJo, who had a great personality and anexcellent understanding of the particulars of the menu. He made great recommendations. Our dinner orders started out withsalad (the ladies got those), and my son and I opted for the cream soup. The support was quite possibly the best soup in everhad! I would have shared a picture, but I ate it too fast. It was thick, had a touch of sweetness, but still maintained abisque-like taste. Again, highly recommend it. For the main course, I chose the Vegetable Alfredo with Shrimp, as did my wifeand daughter. My son chose the day's special, Surf and Turf. It took a pretty long time to get it, but it was worth the wait. TO DIE FOR. Our pasta was perfectly cooked, vegetables were sauteed nicely, and it was loaded with big, delicious shrimp. Asfor my son's dish, he let me have a bite...may have honestly been the best steak I've ever tasted. Tender, melt-in-your-mouthribeye, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. While we weren't eating, we were entertained by a talented singer and saxophone player(don't know his name). We were even treated to a song by "Rex", a frequent guest of the restaurant, according to JoJo. It wasa hoot, and our whole family had a great time. Some warnings, though: parking is not easy. We got lucky, but I can definitelysee someone having to do laps to find a place to park. Secondly, it is NOT a low-cost affair; you most likely will not order adish under $20. Third, it's loud. If you're looking for an intimate dinner, this is NOT the place...at least not where we weresitting. Bottom Line: save your money, make a call, arrive early to park, and get ready for a fantastic dinner. Read more
Service was very good. We ordered the chicken florentine and the scallops for our entrees. Unfortunately we were unable to... finish our meals. Texture and taste of the scallops were off-putting. Chicken Florentine lacked flavor. Read more
