I'm not sure what I expected from gas station sushi. But it certainly wasn't 98% rice wrapped up in seaweed paper. I ordered... four different rolls from this place. For a local spot I love the sushi ???? tuna striped bass and salmon are the types of raw fish I prefer. I noticed people calling... it salty and can’t help but wonder if maybe they put a gallon of soy sauce in it? Lol sushi and sashimi you only dip the endin soy sauce that’s it! Also another one who said “fish is sour must be old” okay so #1 bad fish isn’t sour it issmelly stinky and wouldn’t be edible and #2 sushi rice has vinegar in it. That’s the sour taste it’s part of theexperience ???? Kitchen items: the pineapple fried rice (with chicken or shrimp both are good) is to die from and it’s enoughto be a meal on its own. Love the gyoza and the shrimp shumai dumplings (fried or steamed). Great wonton soup. Finally I highlyrecommend the “spicy Szechuan wontons (ask for sauce on the side) they’re so delicious! I’ve been a loyal customer foryears I know the staff they know me, they have high standards of cleanliness and PROMPT service is a priority so if you’re aslow customer, you are making them take longer to serve the rest of us who like this place so go back to Pelham with the“world revolves around me I’m Karen from Pelham” attitude ! I was never a Sushi lover until now, I drove by and decided to try it out lol oh! Man! Let's just say it was quite an experience... lol but I love this place the very professional fast clean food is delicious the portion size are good and I haven't hadeverything on their menu but who needs too when its delicious ???? . The sushi is here is ok but the service is pretty bad. I ordered over $80 with of food and the lady did not want to give me a... tiny cup of spicy mayo. So I know what you're thinking sushi from a gas station ??? ???????????? but in this case looks can be deceiving . After walking... in & looking around I decided to order myself some sushi & I'm glad I did . So I ordered a shrimp & avocado roll / spicy salmon& a spicy tuna roll .
