Place is not being well kept. Owners or managers must not care. Do not expect the best service. Our waiter seemed disinterested.... My friend had digestive issues the next day, and I had some explosive stuff as well. I mean it is what it is. When you have tohunt down the waiter just because you want to pay the bill, & then wave to the waiter as you walk out the door and say "money'son the table buddy," then I can't say it was the best quality service. Obviously. I won't be going back there. I can tell youthat. Don't go there until ratings improve. Wouldn't be surprised if it's closed within the next year. You can always tell whenyou walk in on a Thursday night and the place is empty if the majority of people stay away for obvious reasons. Don't get theMexican calamar. Nice little place. Very folkloric and tasty food

Fantastic food, wonderful price. And if you bring in your own tequila their margaritas byob are very nice.

I got the fish tacos for pick-up. It was a pretty typical platter of rice, beans, and main. They do give you chips and salsa... with any order. However, that was my minus one star because although included they were not good. I love chips and salsa but thechips were very stale and salsa watery. The main dish was good. This is a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. We went on Cinco de Mayo so they were super busy. The service was great, ... including filling three baskets of chips before our meal came. The food was very tasty and fresh. Insider tip: therestaurant is BYO but there is a liquor store next door that sells plenty of different Mexican beers. Read more
