Service was great. About a 20 min wait. Came for fish Friday. All of the food was just very bland. There was zero seasoning on... anything; Sweet potato fries, fair fries, fish, burger? the Garlic burger bun was all mushy. It was a very basic burger. Nothingto write home about. The breading/fry on the fish was great, just wish there was some seasoning at least. It was cooked verynicely, perfect flakes. There was some odd liquid oozing out of the 2nd batch of fish as well and didn?t smell as fresh. Veryloud party of children next to us. The father stunk of cigarettes while trying to enjoy our meal. I?ve only been to Gavin?s twice, each visit the service has been wonderful. Our food was incredible & we?ve had no wait time to... be seated / limited wait for our food. The price is very accurate for the portion & flavor. Gavin?s martini menu has severaloptions also. Read more
We had great service and great food here! I had yummy fish tacos and my husband had all you can eat fish. Their fish is good... without tater sauce but Gavin's tarter sauce is too good to skip! Don't forget to have a martini! Read more
We used to go to Gavin's a lot but had not been to Gavin's in a long time more recently due to a poor waitress the last time we... went. I always guessed she was terminated but, we hesitated to go back. I had heard and read about the food still being reallygood so we decided it wasn't fair to hold only one experience against them. We are outdoors because I am immune compromised andabout to have a major surgery. It was pleasant in the outdoor seating area. Our young woman that waited on us was terrific andthe food was really, really good. The beer on tap was also excellent. So, please don't hold one experience against a restaurantor tavern. It could be a truly rare occurrence. We will definitely be going back. Read more
We went here on a whim. We were originally planning to go somewhere else but they were packed so we saw this place listed when... we searched for restaurants in the area. We drove by it on and decided to stop here and eat instead of going to a chainrestaurant and we were so glad we did. Phenomenal food and great service. Read more

I worked in Philly a few years back food was excellent. Went after a football game last week definitely has taken a slide... backwards. Food was just ok, need to have a printed beer list. I don't want to look at it on my phone. Read more
