If you love the carhop root beer type eating place then you'll love this place....the rootbeer is homemade but my complaint is... that it's to sweet for me and since the COVID thing they serve in paper cups instead of the mugs ????....the food is average butgood but definitely not the jollys root beer stand I grew up with. We have always had a great experience at Fundays including our visit today. They have some of the best homemade root beer around... and have been a staple of the Dover/New Philadelphia area for years. Highly recommend the coney dogs and a fresh root beer. Read more

We have loved going to this family owned establishment for years. Last night I took a friend for the first time to enjoy the... nostalgic memories of the tray being delivered to the car window and a ?frosty mug? root beer. Unfortunately neither happened:( The food is being delivered as if you were going through a chain drive though ?bag?, not on the tray anymore. The root beeris still amazing, but being served in a paper to go cup with a lid and straw. No more ?frosty mugs?. I've been coming here since I was a kid! The root beer is like no other root beer! I love pulling in and seeing all the vehicles... there and this place staying busy; because I'm glad it's still around for my little boys to enjoy. I take me jeep here with thetop off; so fun! Food is greasy and good ???????? Just what you want at a place like this. I always get a gallon to go forlater!! The staff is always nice. There's always neat cars, trucks, jeeps that come here too. Homemade Root beer was amazing. Fried appetizers were great, especially the fries which seemed to be battered in something... before being fried. Burgers were ok, though we felt that BK had better burgers. Service was good but could have been a bitfaster. Overall great experience for us and for the money. Read more
