I had brunch at Who Dat Coffee this morning. It was the first time I had brunch and the experience was amazing. Yesterday, a... passenger told me experiences are good, but to make sure to take pictures as well that the most important thing. So I made sureI toke some pictures of the food before I dived into it like the hungry wolf I was. I had the Bywater Bene, a grilled tomatowith delicately poaching eggs and creole hollandaise staked on a grilled ciabatta bread with some potatoes. The whole thinglooked and tasted amazing. The staff was very friendly and responsive. I never had to wonder how to get someone's attention forsomething I wanted. It was early in the day and it wasn't that busy. Kept my breakfast simple this morning, but Marigny has many unique, eclectic spots for coffee and breakfast. Eleven to be exact.... Who Dat is the jewel of these experiences. Situated on the corner just down from the fantastic Peter and Paul Hotel, it welcomesyou with outside seating with large umbrellas, a placard of the specials of the day and a door inside to more seating as well asa fully stocked display of delicious pastries, cakes, fresh fruit and a fantastic coffee bar with no detail unattended. Thestations from host to cooks to waiters, barista and service staff are all attended by long time employees. A sign of qualitymanagement. The food is well thought out from basics to New Orleans specific items. The coffee is of the finest quality.Absolutely satisfying from the simple to the intricate. They get it right. Even the average, plain coffee is special. Even thedecaf. Absolutely perfectly prepared and served by attentive waiters that have personality, skill and are fun.
