Super cute! Tried going on a Sunday morning the first time and they were pretty busy, so we came back on a Wednesday morning.... Super delish foods, amazing cocktails, and everyone was super friendly. We were sat, and 3 staff members walked by and each oneof the said good morning ???? kind of made a good morning a great morning! Highly recommend this place, especially on a weekdaymorning. food was good I love that it is Black owned. The inside is nice. The customer service was very good. I ordered the seafood... nachos, and the shrimp and grits. My boyfriend ordered the Up&Adam breakfast, the eggs and potatoes were bland, but he added alittle seasoning. Eggs were cold. The biscuit was outstanding. it was sweet and savory, it tasted like a mixture of pure honey &syrup. The shrimp and grits were good, the grits were just bland. The seafood nachos were delicious, I will go there just forthem!! Prices aren?t bad at all for the food, i really recommend! Read more

Excellent service, attentive and friendly waitstaff. Gumbo good, with a light delicate taste, not heavy rue-based laden. Those... FRIED GREEN TOMATOES though! Divine! Could have ordered several plates as my entree. Clean facility and vibrant upbeatatmosphere. Owner Adam and brother D really aim to please. Get your breakfast/brunch on your way or from the airport! Our waitress was lovely and really kind, the service was wonderful. When it came to the food, it was meh. The honey Tabasco... chicken biscuit was pretty good, the biscuit was crumbly. Their grits needed more butter and salt for me. The waffles wererubbery and the chicken with them were like chicken tenders that were over cooked and dry. The coffee was fine. Everything waspriced good, just didn?t taste good. Read more

I loved this place! Got the catfish and grits and was pleasantly surprised not only by the quality and flavors, but also by the... quantity as it was a huge portion. So good. The vibe and setup is also great and the location is perfect for Mid City residentsand visitors (right off the streetcar line). Only slight negative was the biscuit is a 1.00 up charge which wasn?t told to us,but it wasn?t a big deal as it might?ve been the best biscuit I?ve ever had! Read more

Finally made it to Up&Adam Eatz on this trip home! I'd been reading all the great reviews and the food lived up to them all. We... started with the Sticky Wings and Fire Cracker Shrimp - both were yummy and flavorful - the honey Tabasco had a nice littlekick. We also had the Catfish & Grits (yum!), the Stuffed Waffles (yum!) and the Tchoupitoulas Pasta (yum!) We will definitleybe back for more! And their brand coffee is really good, dark and rich!
