Tried this place out after Luke's was too full. It's right across the street so it was an easy win. The food was creative,... modern and delicious. We ordered the charbroil oysters which were to die for! Then had the blackened Mahi with vegetables stirfry and potatoes with a leek sauce, SO yummy! Great selection for drinks- beer, wine, cocktails. The ambiance was pretty. Thetwo cons that lowered my review was the whole place was oddly smokey, like walk in and think kitchen fire, and the hostessdidn't say anything about it. Not sure if something did get burnt but I think saying something is better than not, toacknowledge that it's a little more than usual. And our particular server was meh. Barely attending to us so we had to say forthings (i.e. silverware) from other staff, which worked. I know it was likely a busy/off night for service but that won't stopme from recommending this place because the food was amazing! Read more

My first experience at Trenasse was for dinner one week night. It was work related. I say that because I may not be willing to... pay their prices myself, lol. That being said, as long as you understand that going in, you can really have a nice meal here.The food was good, the service was great. It is a very nice place to enjoy a fancy meal. Read more

Amazing!! Didn?t get pics of everything but everything was great! The raw oysters were big and tasty, the shrimp and crab... bienville oysters were also big and delicious. The taste of Trenasse entree was EVERYTHING! It was a little bit of everything onthe plate and it was all good and seasoned well. Then, the bread pudding *french kiss* I loved it all. Brain was a pure delight. His level of service is rare these days. The food was amazing, I would highly recommend this... establishment while visiting the area. Make sure to ask for Brian. He said he prepared my birthday desert himself.. not sure ifI?m believing that lol but never the less he did provide me a candle for a wish. I normally don?t rave this much about arestaurant? However, I had to add to this review we returned for Thanksgiving Dinner had the pleasure of having Allison andspoke with Greg the manager. Another wonderful experience..
