This is a must eat at cafe when visiting Algiers. The best pancakes I've ever had. Light and fluffy with varieties available.... The food is cooked fresh, the coffee is hot and delicious. A true gem! Read more

I was visiting NOLA in September 2022, before going on a cruise. My girlfriend and I stayed in a VRBO home a couple blocks away.... It is an amazing, homey, quaint cafe with a big menu to choose from. The portions are huge and delicious. The art on the wallsare from local artists and most of them are for sale! If you get a chance stop and have breakfast, you won?t regret it. Theavocado toast was delicious! I?ve even recreated it since I came home from my trip. Read more

This review was long overdue. This was a great find for us. We were in New Orleans for a couple of days. Algiers point is a must... see when you are in New Orleans, with its beautiful french style houses and quiet neighborhood. It's just so beautiful by theMississippi river. And this breakfast cafe is the best there is to get some amazing breakfast. It's a really popular cafe, bothwith locals and tourists. It was almost occupied when we got there. We had bar stools by the window. They make some fresh beansespresso and other coffees. The fresh smell of coffee filled the cafe. We ordered some coffee, pancakes and the Poche, whichwas eggs and andouille sausage with sauce on grits and boy it was delicious. The andouille sausage was so good, I still havethat taste on my mind. The grits was amazing, too. I had never been a fan of grits but they made me love that grits. The wholecombination was so sumptuous. It was great. The pancakes were amazing, too. They were fluffy and tasted amazing. I enjoyed thebreakfast so much I left my car keys behind and by the time I remembered my keys were missing, I was on the other side of theriver and the place was already closed. Good thing about New Orleans is the public transportation is really good. I had parkedmy car at the hotel. I went back next morning and the owner had safely kept my keys. It was hot when I got there. She offered mechilled water. She was real nice. This place is a must go when you are in Algiers point. Can't recommend this place enough!!!! Read more
