Nice local music but they ran out of most food items on Sunday dinner. Highly recommend to go early to this place if you would... like to dine in. The bar was open though. They had only Brussels sprouts at that time, which was good. Read more

Love the vibe of this place. Walked in tonight to find a cozy spot at the bar. The bartender has an incredible tattoo of ocean... marine life on her arm. It is super cool. She also makes drinks that don't taste like turpentine, you can actually enjoy themwithout getting plastered. There was a local band playing. Loved this laid back relaxing scene. Highly suggest you check it out! Read more

Was drawn in by Justin Donovan absolutely groovin on stage. Had some mini pork bao and a local brown ale. Customer service was... friendly and fast. I appreciate that they add a small fee that goes to the band. It shows they value their entertainment and thequality of musicians is evident. Read more

The Three Muses is cozy music-oriented cafe on Frenchman St just outside of the French Quarter in New Orleans. We met since... friends there for an early dinner and some bluesy singer-songwriter music. We started with a couple of craft beers (both on tapand bottled) and wine from a modest selection that were reasonably priced. We then ordered a few appetizers, including thefrench fries, Brussels sprouts, and fried shrimp. The only outstanding one of the three was the Brussels sprouts, which werenicely fried and crispy on the outside with a tasty balsamic-based glaze. The fries were, well, fries. Nothing special aboutthem. The shrimp, on the other hand, was simply disappointing. We were served a small cup of tiny, deep fried, greasy, clearlyfrozen, tasteless shrimp that was frankly embarrassing for a city as richly steeped in food culture as New Orleans and mostdefinitely not worth the $13 we paid for it. That was pretty much the breaking point. We decided that there were better optionsout there for dinner and left after we had finished the appetizers and the band had stopped for a break. The music, on the otherhand was great! Not too loud and a great ambiance for hanging out with friends. It's a shame the food was not any better. Alsoworth mentioning is that they add a mandatory $3 per person music charge to your bill. Now, I don't have a problem with givingprops to the musicians in the form of $$, but I thought it somewhat sneaky to throw that charge in under the radar that way. Iwould have rather just paid the $3 up front as a cover charge upon entering. Read more

We had a great experience at this place. Drinks are really good, not like other touristy places. The food is also really good.... The music is, of course, top of the notch! Staff did their best to accommodate us. Overall this would deserve a 10 stars. Iwould advise making a reservation. Read more

Everyone knows the real party happens off of Bourbon Street. And usually Frenchman street is where it is at! Slid into Three... Muses on a Friday evening and what grabbed my attention was the close, intimate atmosphere. While a lot of places were activelyjumpin, lines at the door, music cranked up to a 10, this spot was different. Live music, performed by a neo-soul, neo-jazzartist Mia Borders behind close doors, sultry lighting, and chill vibe. Also an amazing food and drink menu. Is the best bourbonfound off Bourbon Street too? Who knows? This place has landed on my radar as a potential favorite.. keeping an eye on it forany return trips! Read more
