Little hole in your wall pizza places, always tend to be some of the greatest pizza in the bigger cities. The Original Italian... Pie did not disappoint. Quick and prompt service, food came out fast, and the woman behind the counter was incredibly polite,great customer service, and a welcoming environment. Small and compact, not a huge open space for eating but we didn't havetrouble finding a seat and in this city, finding a seat can be tricky, but it is removed well enough from other things that evenat the height of dinner time, it was comfortable and easy to get in. Customers were all friendly, had a full on conversationwith two different groups we were sitting by for most of the time we were there. A very nice, relaxing, and chill environmentremoved from the craziness of the city. It was close. There were tables. There was seven of us. Two adults and five kids. The parade has not ended. The staff was more... than friendly. The felt like instant family. The choices were amazing. The food was so good. The left overs made great trainfood home to Houston the next day. We will be back when we are back in New Orleans. We decided to stop in and get some pizza and breadsticks. We wanted a place we could sit down and eat that was away from the... wild crowds and we were not disappointed. When we entered it was an original Italian feel. The workers were some of the nicestpeople in the city. The atmosphere was great, the customers were all welcoming and everyone held great conversations. The foodwas pretty good as well. Thicker dough than I usually like but overall good. Definitely a place to go and eat after a few drinksas well. Highly recommend. Read more
