The bartender today that was here was very nasty rude! We were recommended to come here and she ran half the bar out and we had... her refund our food before we even got it due to the way she treated us! I?ve never dealt with someone like her before and hername was Rebecca! The bat itself lost over $300 in revenue from just our group and we told numerous people outside to not go indue to the way she acted. They all went a different direction! I would think that maybe management if not ownership would beconcerned due to the amount of money that was lost today let alone the other reviews I?ve seen on this bar and the bartender. Read more
Looked cool at first but the bartender was rude to everyone before me which was already giving me anxiety before she got to me... and when she did our encounter was no exception. She seemed outright mad that I asked for a draft that they didn?t have and Imistook a similarly colored handle for the draft I wanted. Then she gave me a face when I said I was charging the 1 draft to acard. Which made me think she possibly up-charged me as the 1 draft beer was $10. I have been in and out of many bars on thistrip to New Orleans, almost always ordering a draft beer, but as expensive as the other places have been none were charging $10a draft. My wife and I grabbed the beer and left immediately! We don?t want to pay those prices and be treated poorly in thesame place. Keep walking past Jimani if you see it. Reading the reviews there is a theme of the Bartender being rude toeveryone. There is also a lot of talk about how Locals are welcome and tourists aren?t but I don?t understand this sinceeveryone?s money spends the same. This is definitely a dive with all the negatives of a dive and none of the positives?iefriendly service good and prices. Read more
Disappointing NOLA dive bar. Great tasting burger. But I ended up paying $12 for a seven dollar burger just because I got it... dressed and with a slice of cheese - even though I ordered the cheeseburger that was already increased in price. They evencharged me extra for a to go order!?? There are a ton of other great burger places and plenty of great dive bars. Go someplaceelse. Read more
Great little spot on the corner for a cold one! We tried the Cantina Tequila Soda and it was fantastic. Not a huge place so get... there early. We will be back! Read more
The Jimani was recommended to us by a local guy as we were walking down the street starving looking for a place to stop and eat.... We ordered the spicy crab po?boy and the papa?s Philly cheesesteak. The crab po?boy was so freaking delicious- definitelyrecommend! The cheesesteak however was EXTREMELY salty, almost to the point of being inedible. We were required to buy a drinksince we brought an outside drink into the establishment. I ordered a Malibu and pineapple - not sure if the bartender thoughtthat I was too drunk to notice or what but there was definitely no Malibu or alcohol in the beverage at all. I also did not likethat she held my credit card behind the counter and as I was observing while I was in there - she did not hold anyone else?scard. We were in there around 7-8 PM and it was not busy at all. Mediocre experience - would be less stars if the crab po?boywasn?t to die for. The bartender did seem sweet and genuine if I didn?t feel like we were being profiled for being ?intoxicated?pretty blonde girl with highlights and her hair curled - nice smile. The cook brought our food out fast. Overall, we paid $36for both meals and the drink. Read more
Cute bar just off the main street. They have great cocktails and super friendly service. The food was amazing!! We tried the... chicken club and the crawfish balls. Would definitely try again!! The reason for the 4 stars is it took a while to get service.We did enjoy the price, service and will be back. Read more
An excellent and classic food spot with delivery for those who work overnight. This was my go-to spot when I worked overnight in... the hospitality industry. The Hang Ova Burger is what I always order. This visit was the same. Jason still works here too! He isAWESOME and has the patience of Job with the most positive spirit. Read more
Sunday bar tender was incredibly rude. Bar cleared fast after she started screaming at customers. People coming in heard and... turned around and left. Horrible experience. I do not recommend! I've never seen anything like that. Read more
