Unlike negative reviews from out of state people, I've actually been to the brewery. I've always enjoyed their sours, but... recently I've tried two of the historic stouts, outstanding. I can't think of a more quintessentially NOLA brewery, they tickthe boxes on the things that locals know and love. Lesser known, great hours, good employees, tucked away like a hideout in thecity, great taste. Did I mention there's an in house creamery? It?s also not overrun by children! Hands down the best brewery in New Orleans. Their ever-rotating taplist is fantastic, the staff is really nice, and the patio is... the ideal place to hang. The owner does a lot for the community and you can just tell he's good people. Read more
Looking for a not overrun by tourists hidden gem of a brewery within walking distance of the WW2 museum? We?ll look no further.... Sampled a few of the beers, enjoyed each and everyone. I don?t know if this is a term but ?dive brewery? comes to mind. There?salso an ice cream shop and small kitchen. The ice cream looks amazing! A great variety of beer at a very reasonable price. Sketchy place with really good IPAs (try Sonic Youth in 1983). Great staff, excellent food!
This has been my favourite New Orleans brewery since 2015, we come back every year and it's always one of our favourite... experiences in the city. The beer selection is always great with plenty of interesting choices. There's been so many good foodtrucks over the years too. The new courtyard is great and there's always a really friendly vibe. This place lives up to its name. It?s in a courtyard. And it?s every bit a brewery. The wit was my personal favorite. But that... didn?t stop me from taking on a few more while there. Rahm Haus, which shares the space, brought us to the party. The brewerywas a welcome find. Read more
This is certainly a understated brewery that gets lost in the shadow of other breweries around town. The Vanilluxe Stout is an... absolute standout around the city and might be the single best beer in town - especially if you love stouts. The courtyard is anice place to lounge but the interior still feels under construction. Still, stop but and support Courtyard because they are asolid brewery! Read more
Courtyard Brewery came highly recommend to me by several beer lovers in the past 3 days I have been in New Orleans. Every beer I... tried tonight has been fantastic the Stout the session the porter the quad and I'll probably try two or three more before I getout of here this evening.
