Diner food done perfectly. Amazing service, delicious food. We are beyond grateful we decided to stop by for dinner. I had a... reuben sandwich and mac and cheese. My wife had a cheeseburger and fries. We were both mesmerized watching the cooks. We areboth avid home cooks and the amount of skill and ability to multi-task was beyond impressive. Stop here if you're in town. Youwon't regret it! Read more
Awesome little diner that is completely dialed in from start to finish. Stopped here after a Tulane move in and waited maybe 5... minutes then got called up to the counter and the feast began. Started with a cup of gumbo that was spot on followed by aHarry?s sandwich, pot roast and cheese with grilled onions. It was awesome! Our server was the coolest dude in the world andexplained how locals look at filé spice. Great convo and incredible food in a really cute little spot. Read more
I have passed by Camellia Grill so many time before, but for whatever reason I never ate there. Well, on Father's Day we had no... plans and I thought it would be a good day to give it a shot. It is smaller than I thought, but I liked the feel of it. All ofthe food was delicious! The reason for my 4 stars is only because I felt that it was a little pricey for a diner. For 2 adultsand 2 kids, we spent $91 (with tip). Read more
This is one of my favorite places to eat when we visit our local family. The omelettes are superb and the atmosphere is one of a... kind. The Chef's Special omelette was as great as it sounds and you should definitely give it a try! The pecan pie is ashowstopper. If I could give Camellia more stars I would. Read more

Camellia Grill breakfast is more than a meal, it is an experience that brings back the positive memories of growing up in New... Orleans. From the moment you are greeted by the professional host that politely and orderly coordinates the waiting crowd. Eventhe waiting crowd is gentile and polite , all with the same goal of tasting New Orleans. The wait staff was top notch welltrained masters of serving food. The breakfast itself was astonishing from the preparation to the delivery to table. Grew up inNew Orleans and this was my first visit here so I leave here wondering how much I missed out for all those years. Read more
