For a small restaurant this place has an outstanding Southern-style menu & their meals never miss the spot. Their bar also... offers a great variety of gourmet coffees. Their diverse staff were always friendly & professional. I highly recommend thisrestaurant when you're in the area. Read more
An outstanding "hole in the wall" restaurant with an attention to flair and plating. The breakfast options include some unique /... unusual recipes that are outstanding and the atmosphere is cozy. The biscuits and gravy were amazing - I think we finally knowwhat they are supposed to taste like (sorry Cracker Barrel). There was a wait when we visited, but it was well worth it. Read more

Great hole in the wall restaurant! I stopped here last minute for a quick dinner on my way to a special event, and I?m glad I... did! I got the Seafood Pasta and the King Cake Martini. Both were delicious and it was the perfect amount of food! The waitstaff were quiet, but very nice, and it was an enjoyable, quick experience. Would for sure stop here again when I visit NOLA! Showed up at 11am for brunch and didn't get in and seated until 1pm, breakfast menu was over and they switched to the lunch... menu. Do yourself a favor and avoid any of their pasta dishes, it is the most bland food I had on my entire trip. Service wassubpar, expect to ask your server for refills on water. Expect to wait 1+ hours if you don't have a reservation on a Saturdaymorning. They are not equipped to seat parties larger than 4, so you will be waiting for several parties to leave before you canbe seated. Also do yourself a favor and put your name on the waiting list next door... I didn't eat there but it CAN'T be worsethan this place and the lines moved faster. Read more
Ate supper at The Street Car Cafe in New Orleans. A cozy little cafe with excellent food and excellent service. I ordered the... blackened redfish with potato salad, greens, and cream of mushroom soup. The fish was soft, flavorful, and most importantlyfresh. The cream of mushroom soup was possibly the best I have had. As it was heavy on the mushrooms and the cream was thick andfull of flavor. Definitely better than anything you can buy in a can. The potato salad was also quite good. Not the best I haveever had, but definitely better than store bought. In the end I was very satisfied with my meal. My buddy Dave had the Taste OfNew Orleans, which was a sampler platter that looked delicious. Someone else in our group ordered deep fried shrimp. I tried oneof their deep fried shrimp and it was awesome! You can tell that the shrimp is fresh down here in New Orleans. The shrimp isvery soft, and packed full of flavor. The shrimp up north simply cannot compare! Read more
Came here on a Monday afternoon for a quick bite since it was close to our hotel. It is a bit pricey. We paid $43 for all that?s... pictured. My boyfriend asked if he could get half fish/ half shrimp since he wasn?t going to eat all that food and both platesare $19. Server said no and told us to order platter which was $25 for even more food. Lol doesn?t make sense. Food was quickand it was yummy. They get a 4 because server never checked on us once or offered any refills after dropping our food. Read more
