My favorite stop from our trip and something that wasn't planned. Needed something accessible when we got here and the service... and food didn't disappoint one bit. At the Mayhaw, the Sazerac was one of the best I've ever had. Elysian Seafood has a stellarcrab cake, but the potato hash was only so-so. A friend can't stop talking about how much she loved the curry there. Read more

This was my first time going into this place and it's absolutely NICE! There's a couple of businesses in this one market but me... & bae decided to go to HYPE EATZ. I had the SOUTHERN taco which was the picture with the honey baked chicken with the Mac andcheese on a sweet potato tortilla with the whiskey honey glaze. It had a mild sweet flavor which I really enjoyed. Bae got theJERK RED FISH taco which was the picture with the reddish seasoned with the jerk sauce with cilantro, pickled red onions, redcabbage served with plantains (also pictured) I tasted alittle bit of the red fish but it wasn't too spicy but then and all Ionly had one bite. You can see what we ordered pictured on the menu I also tried plantains for the first time and it was ok;like a banana TRYING to be subtle with the sweetness but much firmer. Very interesting???? Also used the restroom; I hope thatnot too weird but it looks like those old school restroom which I thought was pretty neat and thought I would share it withyall. We went on a Saturday and the vibe was pretty chill with an eclectic vibe; so many cultures (foodwise) in one place. Ican't speak on what a regular workday would be like Like a melting pot. Speaking on the heads mounted; just strange but oddbut..ok I also pictured the table and chairs. Ok I did that because if you look closely there's hooks to hang your jacket, purseetc UNDERNEATH the table. Idk if your interested in trying a new place check this place out. You might find something new &interesting. Maybe this can become your new hangout spot! Read more

Very spacious market with reliable WiFi. A friend and I chose this location to work on our client forms and information.... Friendly people throughout the market. The ladies restroom toilet seat should probably be removed though. There is splatterstained on it. Read more

I?ve always loved these market concepts because everyone can get what they want. I came for Elysian Seafood and it did not... disappoint. The crawfish etouffee tasted like it was made with crawfish broth. Red beans and rice had a nice little kick. Thecrab cake? takes the cake. Insanely good. Read more

I?ve been here way two much each photo is from a different time and restaurant lol. I love that this place is full of choices... and variety in culture, food and vibe each kiosk brings something different to the table. It?s great for having meetings andmeetups and there are some pretty fantastic chefs that come through here. My favorite part about eating here is that it?s almostnever the same restaurant and most of the chefs go on to own their own restaurants and I think that?s just beautiful. Also thereis no wait staff sometimes the different chefs may serve you but not always, and you have to find your own silverware sometimesyou have to wait on that but you?ll love it here it?s near a lot of aesthetically pleasing buildings and shops. Most bigger cities/ areas have some sort of industrial eatery where there are multiple different ?restaurants? (more like indoor... food trucks) to choose from and wander around to. St. Roch market is just like that, but it?s for sure a distinctly New Orleansversion. The outside is brick and has a cute seating area. Inside feels almost colonial mixed with modern Victorian and it?s apretty cool mix. They have a great variety in eating options, from Himalayan to Greek to fried chicken to the classic seafood/Creole of the south. Oh, and a coffee shop that has THE BEST cold brew I have EVER tried. Ever. Period. I don?t know how thisvanilla cold brew could ever be topped. That seems like a very dramatic statement but wait until you try it. St. Roch hassomething for every preference! Read more
